@@camtaylor4764 looks to me that they are charging £420 (reduced price) but when you get to the checkout, it says in the fine print that it's a "pre order" and you get it when stock comes in... but they only made 100 of this gun so you ain't getting your gun lol
under 200€ you get a high quality gun. Love it

Nice video, 2 things i would have added, perhaps a short piece of hearing the RIF firing would be nice. (Ive heard its the loudest and has the heaviest kick off all gbbr's). And two, being a former squaddie, why oh why does no one and I mean NO ONE, ever wear a beret correctly. Here's Pagan Squaddies British army lesson on making you beret fit. 1. Boil a kettle 2. Pour in a bowl 3. Submerse beret 4. After a few moments (as it will be hot) place beret on head. 5. With left hand, hold where cap badge would he situated. 6. With right hand shape beret by pulling the excess to your right and pulling to the right 7. Shape untill the excess is held in place 8. Be glad you no longer look like a french baguette seller😅

i personally love the L85, love the real thing as well. Im not a fan of the stock hop system, so i replaced it with the English Kiwi hop unit and its brilliant now. I would note that the ICS trigger switch set can break after a long time, like 5 years for me, but the build quality of it makes it easy to replace. Trouble is finding a trigger switch set in the UK
The ics is defiantly built to alot higher specs than some of the other l85 on the market, tho they are just a normal aeg they work well

you are incorrect with the hopup adjustment, it is in front of the magazine, it needs their special tool to adjust it

I dont know what mythical VFC FAL you have but the hop up is a flat head screw just infront of the magazine well, it is not adjusted by the gas regulator

TBH am not a massive fan of the Platform, but I have had a play with a Friends one and was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed.
