Intro volume is way too high!
Thank you for sharing this information. As a future educator, I want to be well-informed and sensitive to my students. Thank you again.
I was pretty, homecoming queen and i was one of three popular girls that hung out at school. One of us was a girl that had money in her family and was a horrible bully to a couple girls all through high school. She would do things like put a toothbrush on this one girls desk so when she came in to class she was greeted with that and all the other kids laughing…it was horrible and very disturbing to me. About ten years ago the bullied girl found me on facebook and sent ment me a message saying that I was always very kind to her and that it meant a great deal to her her whole life. This was forty years ago when we were in highschool. I was shocked that I had lade such an impact on her as I was always kind to all people in school ….so i guess im one of the 12% that didnt use my popular power to hurt others. The bullied girls message to me has meant alot to me ..more than she will know….I told her that when I answered her message…i didnt say how I had thought of her so many times during ly life..I only knew her name and would say hi and always gave her a reassuring smile. That bully…well karma comes around..she was charged with a felony after she was caught stealing about twenty thousand dollars from her boss…was a cocaine addict and basically was in a mess….i never talked to her after highschool as i really didnt like her much…but I wish no one bad will, even her. She has since straightened her life out I guess but Still has that meaness from what her sister told me a couple years ago. I was bullied terribly in middle school by the way…overdosed on ly mols valium in seventh grade …git kicked out of school for a few days because of that… the stress was so bad I had snuck my moms pills as I couldnt take the anxiety anymore. There was no talk much of bullying back in the late 70,s…..sadly
There are stuff like this people are supposed to be looking at, but they don't...
Excellent talk! Clear, based on data.
Good job! Great to get the stats about how much this approach has improved outcomes for traumatized children in many different jurisdictions.
