It’s difficult to defend him, but I actually feel bad for Harry Kane at this point. He’s one of my favorite strikers in world football and nobody is denying his scoring ability and how good he is, but his lack of trophies is making him a laughingstock and whenever a player wins a trophy, you see all these posts that player A in 20 minutes won more trophies than Harry Kane. He’s one of those players who’ve actually had a significant career compared to others that’ve won trophies because he’s elite even if he doesn’t have any trophies to show for anything. For many years, fans and pundits were saying that he needs to get out of Tottenham in order to win trophies and he stayed at that football club for too long and if he left a couple of years ago and went to Manchester City in 2021, he would’ve had 6 trophies or even 8 by now since they’ll win the domestic double 12 months after winning a treble. That’s what Kane missed out on and he finally left Tottenham and joined Bayern Munich and this was the perfect match for either. Why, because he needed trophies and he went to a club that’s guaranteed to win at least 1-2 trophies a season. This is the perfect script right here and a typical Spursy moment, after Harry Kane’s arrival, Bayern Munich go trophy less for the first time since 2012 and their dominance in the Bundesliga ended once and for all. Just a reminder that he has the most goals out of any player in Europe and people think that Bayern Munich’s downfall is because of Kane’s trophy curse and at this point it’s just sad that he’s struggling to win trophies even at Bayern Munich and I hope he wins something in the future because he’s too good of a player to have not won any trophy unless you count the Audi Cup. The guy just can’t stop scoring and that’s what he does best, when will his “trophy curse” end because no matter how many goals he scores, there’s a large section of fans that don’t care anymore as they just want to see him finally win a trophy.
