This was a typical storyline with son coming home from abroad and mother wanting him to take over the company and get married. These movies depict Nigerian mothers as manipulative busibodies who constantly interfere in their children's lives. The chemistry between the make and female lead was not there. He had more chemistry with the wedding planner than Agatha (Nancy Isme) and there was nothing giving indication the he and Agatha would wind up together for then to end up pregnant in the end. Not a bad movie, just not well developed. A few more scenes were needed to flesh out the entire storyline.

I don’t know how close these are to reality as my sons and daughter don’t want me to matchmake them. Great jobs, their own places, Stem degrees but if the hear the girl or boy is a friend’s son or daughter, it’s a “no” as 🇺🇸 of Naija descent . I wish this kinds of easy to match family friends children are as easy.. Our young adults here don’t want to hear it.
