Nice circa 1930?
UK NME ALBUMS CHART WEEK OF JUNE 8, 1962 NEW THIS WEEK PEAKED NUMBER 2
The other is in the Albert Hall
😮
Interesting sides, but very low volume..
Very old song record has been threw many years of abuse more than likely. I buy in bulk clean them up the best I can and record them. Sometimes it's because they were recorded before the electronic age
Didn’t know they covered this! Thanks for sharing!
Marvellous ! Thank you for posting.
May I be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas 2024!
😮
It's too sad that your record was broken. :( It is beautiful still !
That first piece of music was used for a TV show, and I can't place it! Was it a cartoon? I've listened to it a few times and it just isn't coming to me.
The Woody Woodpecker Show
I find it very strange how all of these are way older than me yet I'm still finding music I've heard before.
I'm digging that last note!
Still amusing after all these years.
Sam Browne on vocals with Harry Hudson studio band..
I have this 78 was going to post it some of these days. Nice to see this!
Vanessa Squara and Gayle Hovelmeier; the drive to Pretoria, 1990. 😊
Rescued!
Nice! Through Despite the surface noise, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Stoki's wild and wonderful interpretations shines through. I suspect the history of this disk is interesting.
Song list?
Never really thought of that tbo
Will you sign my petition?
Well saved, sounds good
Great song this, I have uploaded it as well 😎
I got a question. This music slaps, but why did they need to put the blackface in it? Ooh wait, I take that back. What the heck is with that voice?
Very Nice I well remember records like this when a young man and my mother loved them
🎉
Szkoda ze trzeszczy
Old record dude, thank you for your comment. I have collected a lot of 78s a lot are sleeveless so clean then up and record them
Gewoon prachtig om naar te luisteren. gr Lies
De melodie is mooi op het accordeon en een fijne engelse wals is het. gr Lies
🎉
YT why are you recommending this? Nice though. I refuse to believe this video isn’t 15 years old though.
Appreciate this guys work must of taken ages
This thing is nearly a century year old…
Very beautiful 👍❤️
Thank you

J'ai ce disque et je l'ai même posté sur ma chaîne, pour tiré le meilleur son de ceux disque j'incline légèrement la tête de mon électrophone sur la droite, ça me donne moin de grésillement et un meilleur son
Lot of it comes down to how the life of the record has been kept. I,e is in a case has it been lying around in dust of stored in the right temps
what a beautiful voice
Hand!
Briliant
I've got most of his scripts, I transcribed them by hand listening to his CD.
Cool
Best track on channel
Intermezzo....
And the daughter of the Godfather is shot dead in Godfather III using this portion of this opera. The intermezzo is lovely music for strings and oboe. I have records of this that sound better considering how old these records are.
I was very fortunate to get these as the guy passed away. Needing to convert my Fidelity record player for the very small 78s
I believe the orchestra on this recording is the Boston Pops Orchestra?
You could be right but the description is what's printed on record
@@Rick78Clarke Interesting. I used to watch the Boston Pops Orchestra play which was mainly made up the musicians from the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Being a timpanist myself, I was a fan of Vic Firth who was the solo timpanist for that Orchestra for some 38 years or so
78 rpm ?
78 revolutions per minute
dawg wtf
?
