It's so nice to hear from two talented artist speak about Donna Summer. I remember that night watching Solid Gold Christmas show. I was mesmerized by Donna's voice. She did a solo of Oh Holy Night, dam that voice came soaring out so effortless, and then she did Oh Come Oh Ye Faithful with Marilyn, it was an amazing duet.

….I remember when this aired. I’d hoped to go to the show’s taping. I was disappointed that she didn’t sing the actual single from the album “When Love Cries” …which was a moderate hit on the R&B charts at the time…. But of course her voice was flawless regardless of what she sang!!
