Inland Empire is an antisemitic film, hence its oblique, cryptic use of symbology. I think Lynch believes 911 was an inside job perpetrated by an 'Inland Empire' of Jews. The Polish white slavers are a cypher for Jews, as are the rabbits. The main character played by Laura Dearn is a symbol of an America corrupted by ruthless Jewish criminals and hustlers in the post-war period, deeply embittered by the holocaust. The inference being America must pick up 'the Due Bill' and fund the survival of Israel. Sentiments which I don't agree with by the way, just saying that's how I interpret the symbology/

If anyone wants to experience something new I have been listening to a group of Colombian Emo Revival bands, if you want to check them out there's a group album called "La Nevera En La Sucursal De La Eterna Primavera" which in English means "The Fridge in the Venue of the etern spring", I would also highlight "Veintiséis Calles De Venus" (Twenty-Six streets from Venus) from the band Ortiga, I have yet to explore the other groups that participate in the first album! I really fuck with Horsegirl, but I have to admit, there’s a huge lack of Chicago influence in the noise rock scene. No bands are influenced by the Jesus Lizard, Big Black & things like that, and it sucks because there’s no noise rock coming out that makes you perk up & go “dude, what the *fuck* is this?” Not trying to be bitter, but bands like horsegirl leave me a bit disappointed because it feels like genre regression more than expansion
