Misa is one of the 5 key elements in the band. She's always been great, but one thing I realised about her is she is a groove oriented player who mainly plays funk, jazz, blues style and hardly ever play rock, metal or punk style. It's also the main factor that adds unique texture to Band-Maid sound. She's consistently amazing. However, those who significantly stepped up over the last few years are Akane, Miku and Saiki. And all are making a big difference and elevating their music.

I'm basically just seconding what has already been said about how incredible Su's vocals are. Her voice is like no other. Audibly or emotionally.

You're a joke. BabyMetal is a live band. Who the hell reacts to an album track? React to their live videos. That's the ONLY way to experience the full power of BabyMetal.

Metal Kingdom is the overture and mood setter for the album. TOO is a more mature and serious album than their previous ones and this song sets the epic tone perfectly. The live performances at Babymetal Returns and Babymetal Begins are worth seeing for how spectacularly they are staged.

Nice one (or two in this instance), it is a great album and it really does show off Su-metal's vocal abilities and her unique voice really well. You are absolutely right, you can tell immediately that it is Su. 'Metal Kingdom' is the epic opening track of course - and you will see when you watch one that the visuals in the live performances reflect the epicness. Su-metal has her first official writing credit for the lyrics for 'Divine Attack - Shingeki'. I think you are wrong about BABYMETAL always having a steady, dance-able beat ... that is one of the things that makes their choreo so impressive and stand out from most dance acts is that they are dancing to metal and they have a lot of time signature changes and different rhythms to cope with within most of their songs, very unlike dance music which really is steady and predictable (and boring). 'Mirror Mirror' next - yes definitely a ballad with a slow, steady, dance-able beat.🤥🤭😁🤘

Hey, welcome back! Yes, Su-metal's voice is very unique. And probably the reason I became a die-hard fan. The genre in the EDM based sections in "Divine Attack" is called drum and bass (DnB or D&B). Yeah, mirror mirror is kind of a ballad... haha... 🤭

I don't care how good you are at playing your instruments/vocals if your band can't produce song that has MELODY. Melody to me is ENERGY VIBRATING at different HARMONICS OF FREQUENCIES. I only listen to LOVEBITES because all there songs consistently have MELODY.
