Hi guys it’s Ben. In this video me and my dad show you what we’ve done so far with my mini. It’s been great but hard work. Lots and lots of cutting and grinding to get the old panels out and new ones in. Massive thanks to everyone who has subscribed to the channel and if you want to see anything in particular just leave it in the comments. Thanks mini boy.

Hi guys. My name is Ben. I’m 11 now and this is my first car. I’m building it with my dad. I want to go to prom in the car as its first trip. I’ve done a few videos you can see showing me buying the car and now making this rotisserie. We can now spin the car in any direction. I love it. Thanks for watching and keep upto date with how we are getting on with the stop and build of my first mini. #...

Looking forward to watching here from Canada. My wife is from Stoke!!
How have you learnt all this ?
@@EdwardKeech hi Edward. Since the age of 16 I started to work on land rovers. Over the years I learnt to build repair replacements everything. I then travelled the country doing competitions in them repairing my own vehicle. It was brilliant. I even took my car to Australia to race. Kids slowed that hobbie up but I never stopped working on cars. Plus I’m a self employed electrician so hands on at work. We have a daughter 21 that I love to pieces but once we had a son I knew I wanted the time together in the garage. ❤️
Best of luck with the project. Coming along well 😊
Your lad is a very lucky guy. He gets a mini but mostly he gets a life time of skills and confidence that he's just not going to get from normal education!
@@ClassicMinishorts thanks very much for your comments and support. It’s all new to us and it’s amazing to have such good feedback.
@Miniboysfirstcar it's only metal, as long as it's done safely it's much more important to try! Enjoy
Look foward to seeing the back end replacement
A massive effort. It'll be better than new when you're done.
Fabulous idea for a channel, and time spent with your boy. As a mini owner I will enjoy watching this project unfold.
Hey Ben I got my mini as my first car when I was 17. I'm 22 now and still got it ! it's so good to see a young lad like your self getting in to classic cars and working on them your self. keep us updated ! Never sell it !!
Well done young man! I got my first mini when I was 11 and loved every minute of it! Keep up the good work, I've got an in depth Mini Pickup Restoration happening on my own channel too!!
Best of luck with the build Ben. Fair play to your dad for teaching you, we need more young people learning classics. I look forward to the updates! :)
What a team, well done . Looking forward to the finished article Ben 👍.
Hoping once my workshop built to start my own channel of my build.
At least get him the right tools.
@@scorchio70 he’s 11 and done that off his own back. We all need to learn. Even adults when commenting.
What power plant you thinking?Awesome work.
Start them young.Good to see a young man & his dad building a car.Going to be an addiction now.
I wish I had aspit when mine was a shell best of look it looks like a solid shell keep up the good work 👏
Amazing to do this together, well done! did alot with my dad and set me up for life 👍 ps alot of the videos are uploaded as made for kids and can't be commented on, not sure if that was intended.
@@ClassicMinishorts ah thanks for that. I thought that meant both adult and kids could see them. Can it be changed. We are new to this and want to get a proper video up and running.
@@ClassicMinishorts I’ve found how to do it. Thanks.
Awesome tool for the best job done right. Well done!
@@ashovelhead thanks very much. It’s a bit heavy for my son to use at 11 but it does a mint job. Please try and watch my son’s other videos on the channel.
That's the first of many "ouches" in any budding mechanics career...
Excellent opportunity - he seems to be enjoying it
@@EbrahimMakda1 thanks very much. We are loving it. Please share for me. Thanks Ben.
