I filmed a little film with my new Fujifilm XT4 and the XF 23mm F1.4 Lense while I was hiking in the mountains and slept under the stars. While hiking up we had some nice climbing parts and in the morning a beautiful sunrise. Enjoy
Nice work and beautiful visuals. Nowadays have to have at least 1 local to hike along with foreigners. I guess that can help some of the local economy. But less fun to hike if we want to hike alone.
Thanks mate, in the Kumbu (Everest) Region it’s ok to hike alone without a guide. And personally I prefer it more. I also did a trek to the Mardi Himal without a guide and it was fine.

Vielen Dank, ja das mit dem Zelten ist immer so eine Sache. Offiziell hatten wir nur ein Biwak, das ist erlaubt/Grauzone. Aber wo kein Kläger da kein Richter. Am besten einfach selber informieren und gut mit der Natur umgehen.

Stunning film ! It's a masterpiece. But if you don't mind and please allow me, somehow the film I did not see a completed 3 pass, which Kongma La pass and Chukung Ri are missing.
Thank you very much, yes you noticed it correctly. I decided to not do the Kongma La Pass because I was pretty late in the season (December) and heard from many people the pass was very icy and I was hiking alone. Safety first
@vincentgoette Thank you very much for sharings. Yes, I fully agree with safety first, especially in winter when climbing or hiking at high altitudes, low pressure, low oxygen and low temperature. I luckly made it for my EBC trek in Nov. 2022 when I was 63 years old. After that, I became more confident and plans to return to Nepal to challenge the EBC 3 passes in Nov. 2026 when I am 67 years old. I am not sure whether I can complete the whole journey. I will expect for the best.Your epic masterpiece video is stunning me and inspired me to move steps forward to the journey of 3 passes. It also increase my confidence. Thank you again for your valuable sharings. Also looking forward to the future be able to enjoy more of your epic film masterpieces. Two thumps up !

Hi, habe eine Frage bezüglich eures Tarps: Welches Tarp habt Ihr benutzt und hält das auch was aus Falls es mal was unruhiger wird? Und ich habe gesehen das Ihr Wende (Modulweise) noch an das Tarp montiert habt, gibt es dazu noch mehrere Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten? Würde mich über eine Antwort Freuen. LG ;)
Hi, das Tharp ist von Stoic, wie man es aufbaut ist einem selbst überlassen, da gibt es viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Das muss man einfach ausprobieren. Ja genau, gut gesehen, wir hatten noch kleine Planenteile, die wir an die Seiten machen konnten. Wenn man das Tharp gut abspannt hält es schon ein wenig Wind aus, aber da eigentlich immer mindestens eine Seite offen ist, muss man du schon aufpassen. Ein Zelt ist das noch Robuster.

Hi Vincent, what an amazing film, really good, may i ask you when did you go to do this trek, every day was clear and nice, and was it really hard to do it, i am planning to do it on march but haven't decided which way to go, thank you very much for your film and your help.
Hey, thank you very much. It was definitely very challenging, but not undoable. I have good endurance though. You have to take it slow in the beginning to get acclimated. I did the hike in late fall season, so from mid/end November to beginning of December. During fall the weather is usually amazing and less people towards the end of the season (when I did it) but it was getting pretty cold as well. As far as what I’ve heard, spring is great as well, but more busy, because that’s summit time for all the people going to the high summits. Also it’s much more green in spring.

How did the hike cost?
Including transportation from and to Kathmandu I payed 680€, without transportation it was 450€ for all the costs (Permits, Accomodation, Food)

Hi I loved the video! such beautiful cinematography! I'm planning a trip on the Altav Via 1 for next summer and this gave me some great inspiration:) I'm having trouble finding information about bivouacing in the dolomites on the internet; how did you do it? Is it possible to biouvac anywhere near the trail or did you go to designated camping spots?
Thanks a lot, there aren’t any designated camping spots, because camping is not really allowed, but when you aren not setting up a tent you are technically not camping. Always do your own research and be respectful with nature.
