Continuous run will last longer than constantly turning on/off with bighead momentary switch. So continuous can achieve 2-3+ hours but the constant on and off can drain a battery a little faster. So it really depends on the use. Alternatively if you turn it on then off for a while it will last longer.

It depends on what the amp hour capacity is. Generally speaking, most people use 2x ~100Ah deep cycle batteries in series so based on that - you're drawing roughly 13 amps. So you'll get 7-8 hours. That's theoretical run time, in reality your voltage fluctuates and so does your amperage so maybe you can get up to 9-10 hours.

The new Swamp Eye Gen 2.X light bars are twice the brightness of these. Awesome lights.

Hi Michael - I am not sure what wiring couplings you are talking about but I would recommend purchasing these waterproof wire connectors for making wiring extensions or connecting to various types of batteries. It's a cheap 130 pc kit that comes with everything you need. It has connectors for connecting to deep cycle marine batteries, deer feeder batteries, and various solder seal extensions. We do not recommend using green underwater lights for flounder gigging or Bowfishing. The adjustability from warm white to cool white with our Swamp Eye Lights perform far better. We do sell underwater green fishing lights, but those are better for rod and reel fishing to sit in one spot and attract fish. Not for flounder gigging and Bowfishing where you’re trying to cover a bunch of area and find fish.

If it slides off you didn’t tighten it.

It depends on the amp hour capacity of your battery and whether you run it on full power or dimmed down. Dimmed down you can get a really long run time exceeding 24 hours. At maximum brightness, you can still get a decent run time of 10+ hours on a typical deep cycle battery but it varies from battery to battery.

Hi Justin - the minis and the full sized submersibles are relatively the same physical size and weight. The difference is mainly in the LED chip power output. The minis can run above or below water as they are lower power output whereas the full size submersibles are underwater and are much higher power output. Both can be used for walking and flounder gigging.

Yes you can see over 500 yards for clear identification purposes and you can see eye shine beyond 1000 yards. It also works great for shorter range shots where you're constantly scanning. The beam is very wide and long range.

There is a size limit and a bag limit.

Yes you do not have to use it. However, as you can tell in this video, it provides a lot of additional protection to your light. We encourage you to use it when running your light underwater.

Yes sir our Swamp Eye Submersible lights work very good for gigging. They do a great job at lighting up the bottom.

Hi Kevin. They draw 10 amps on 12 volt DC, 5 amps on 24 volt DC, and 1 amp on 120 volt AC. This amp draw is typical for a 120 watt light.

I was thinking hell i can only run 2 off the genny at that amp nice job with the lights looking to upgrade soon and these are my first option currently running 400w power hungry hps along with leds does good but hate the warm up on the hps
