It’s obvious that this lady had a bad day at work, America has its pros and it’s cons like every country on this planet but to say you going to work until you die to obtain the America is not true, if you educate yourself you can have the American dream and more me and my mom came from Jamaica with nothing but a dream and life if not 100% perfect but we are doing great we hold our head down and work never try to live a life we know we can’t maintain and this the thing, how about you learn about investment barrow money from the bank buy a old house and fix it up and rent it start a business or trade stocks .? With your negative mindset I can see why you feel like that though the universe will give you whatever you ask for and that’s what this lady ask for. I am from the Caribbean and there is a lot opportunities in America. Its a good idea to learn a trade such as welding, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, nursing ect, obtain a degree and continue learning and to live below your mean. I never purchase anything that I could not afford and I use credit card to make purchases. One should not try to be a show off by buying items that does not appreciate in value.

There's so much opportunity in America people get here and still don't see opportunity. The economy is not as good as it once was and inflation is high but it's not a plantation. You can buy an affordable house but just not in the big cities where everyone wants. You don't have to be an employee, you can own your own business. There's so many different paths. Jamaica is one of the most dangerous places in the world. I'm sure there are some people who feel safe and comfortable there but statistically the homicide rate per capita is higher than most of the world and it's way more than the US. Both sides of my family are from the Caribbean but they would not go back and live there. We appreciate the United States and are grateful for our heritage.

I visited Jamaica 3 weeks ago with some friends and what the Western media has been saying about Jamaica was pure lies. Had great times in St. Thomas, very safe with windows open, plenty of nature and mountains, great people, etc. Work smart not hard.
