An American in Sweden - Carnivore Cooking with International Travel
I recently returned home from a 3.5 week travel adventure around Sweden and in Iceland. Here are a couple of the budget-friendly quick and easy carnivore ideas I made to stay on track with meals while traveling internationally. Shoutout to @LauraSpath for giving me the idea of purchasing an air fryer at the beginning of the trip. This thing was a life saver!

This video is all about carnivore-friendly travel foods. If fasting isn’t an option for you and you can’t hit the closest McDonald’s for a stack of quarter pounder patties (because you’re somewhere above the Atlantic Ocean or the Sahara Desert or some other place without drive through access) here are some survival foods to get you to your next stop!

I had never purchased this cut of meat before but I’m always up for learning new things about how to cook nutrient-dense and delicious foods. My son said, “This is a GREAT steak! Can you please make it again sometime!?...

    Good ideas. Whatever you do, and it's not carnivore, but I was doung keto at the time. I took an unopened bag of erythritol with me through security. Figuring it was cheaper where I lived and wouldn't have to go shopping. It was dry 12 oz. They spotted it, ad called over special security with a chemical tester machine. It tested for what it was, and they let me go through. But it was embarrassing.

    I have been trying kippers and sardines. The kippers stinked up the house a whole lot, and I found a couple sardine brands that tasted absolutely foul. I also render tallow (from suet .. can be stored at room temp) and poured into small ice trays. You can use for cooking or pop a cube into a bone broth. Don't forget corned beef ... at a pinch you can eat out of the pan. Or if you have a kitchenette, you can cook with eggs.

    • @kokopaleo
      @kokopaleo 4 месяца назад

      Good call on the ice cold tallow! Going to add that to my list. Thank you!

      @@kokopaleo If you render it from suet (kidney fat), it will set hard like a candle and is virtually odorless. I have a container of the cubes sitting next to my stove.
