I have no idea 🤔 I just needed to power it up to see the digits... I would guess it's CAN-BUS and the speedo is actually transmitted with all the other parameters together, but I might be wrong. The EVO wiring diagram will answer this, I believe 😏

Don't take my word for it ;) I don't know is that pin 12 or not. Do you think speedo is transmitted through dedicated wire?

@@geriaune no it was something I had read and didn't really believe because then why would all other instruments be canbus. Maybe I read it wrong and to control the speedo manually needs a pot on pin 12. I'll play over next few days anyway!

Thanks man! At the time I was painting it the selection of colors was very poor 🫣 wanted the green to avoid any paperwork change so settled for the bmw one 😁 as close to black as possible but in the sun it shines!

@geriaune thanks for answering. What if I change the stock air filter with a k&N filter. Do you think I should do the Ivan's Flash. I was told that with the new Exhaust, the bike may run lean and cause damage to the engine. The Exhaust will get hot and etc.

@@mohsinnasir7453 unless you change the box itself - you should be good. The stock ECU adjusts to slight air flow changes. Ivan's tune might help on some occasions, but I don't have it so cannot comment ;) p.s. don't overthink it - enjoy the bike. I ran mine through all Romania without proper cooling and it still lives 😂

@@geriaune Aš dėl garso dejiau indu šveistuku i vidu ir šaiba su pragrežta skilute, tai nuo 130 krito db iki 80 :) O dėl numerio laikyklio ant galinio sparno taip pat, laikinas variantas kol praeis tech 😁

New owner decided to change head gasket and used the same head bolts 🙄 that's what I've been told. From the looks of it - head lifted under boost and coolant in the cylinders did the rest... The car was parted out as he was not able to source another 4G63T locally 😪

Don't know. The principle should be similar, but you need to check the wiring diagram. This one in particular was written for EVO 7 to 10.

I have evo 5 does this work it only has ayc for the rear.

You need to check the wiring on the pump/solenoid side. The one I have is for EVO 7-10 only.
