Wow, what a voice.

From Newark, Delaware! My husband and I grew up in the 1960’s and enjoyed Jimmmy Beaumont and the Skyliners music listened to the group on the radio and TV. In later years, we would go to concerts to see this great group of excellent performers that put on a very enjoyable show every time. We miss him and his group. We feel for you, Mrs. Beaumont for your loss of your husband. Wanted you to know we have listened to tapes of your husband and the Skyliners quite often.over the years.

That’s how he wrote, Joe Rock gave Jimmy a piece of paper with hand written lyrics. The early ones were written with Jackie Taylor. Beaumont could SING!

Besides the top-notch performance from the late and GREATEST Jimmy Beaumont, Pure Gold was then Sid Hill: bass, Ron “Tiny” Crawley (RIP): tenor, Susan DeLuca: alto, Robert “Pecky” Peckman: floating tenor, and Frank Czuri (moi): second tenor. We had a beautiful blend of voices. Loads of fun & adventure in my 25 years with them.

The best I can say about Joe Rock is he was a TRUE Pittsburgher! Pittsburgh natives will know exactly what I mean!

I met Jimmy many times at various concerts in NJ. I'm positive this is Jimmy on lead. Of course, he was much younger and you can hear that in his vocals on the lower notes. As he got older his voice developed to many more octaves than you here on this song.

This song takes me back to my childhood, I've been looking for it for a very long time, Thank you for posting it.
