Great discussion. I would love to see our fellow Armenian intellectuals to initiate conversations with Turkish and Azeri people as well. It’s all good to get together and call them inferior, violent, murderer, etc. I don’t think none of us would disagree with that argument. Because it’s fact that our ancestors were subjected to genocide. Our brothers and sisters have been forced to leave their homeland, Artsakh very recently. There is no single Armenian family that was not affected. I still will play the devils advocate and ask few questions: ** How many times have you heard your friends and family calling Azeris as sheep? Have you ever spoken against it? ** Have you heard about Azeris who had been forced to leave Artsakh and surrounding districts during first Artsakh war? ** Do you know anyone who has pictures of Monte on their walls? Are we ok with crimes he and his organization committed? ** Has there been any mistake Armenia and Armenian people have made that requires amends? ** Do you or people around you believe in racial superiority? ** Have you seen the video of Armenian kids assaulting Turkish diplomats here in UCLA? Just to clarify, we as a nation have been a victim of a genocide. But that doesn’t give us license to act immoral. We need to understand that peace cannot be achieved by insulting the other side and rejecting dialogue. I’ve been to Armenia and Artsakh twice. One thing that surprised me was that people in Armenia is not as fanatic as the diaspora we have here in the US.

First of all I express my gratitude in debating Bosnia and Herzegovina, and what the citizens faced and still are facing through. You're all wonderful people despite of what you and your family have been through. I'm happy you're all here, trying to move forward this wonderful country. There's no extra time in talking and concerning issues of people, specially of citizens of Bosnia. No amount of time is enough. The main concerns is the way many politicians, media and intellectuals disrespectfully disregard the agression and genocide that has been in Bosnia. It is shocking but nothing new. This is happening for a long. And it is not Serbs, but also an certain far right Eastern block. But looking forward, I think Bosnian Muslims politicians and intellectuals need to be much more present in the International Community. They must have stronger voice in UN, EU and USA-Canada. I remember the war in the 90s, the Bosnian Serbs had much more presence and attention in the news, media and meetings with western community than Muslims and Croats. During the war, invariably I would see Karadzic constantly in the news. And I'm from far apart from Bosnia.
