Maybe doctors and nurses a few times a day briefly describe to patients what they are doing so patients who are aware know what's going on...

Any traumatized person knows that feeling of isolation... Helpful to hear your experience...

I had HELLP syndrome too. Fitting under general anaesthetic delivery. Very sick, in ICU. Parents wete told I had 50/50 chance of surviving. The next 24 hours would tell if I could fight through it. Very vague memories but I thought I was in a spaceship in ICU, was aware of weird little lights, darkness and voices but couldnt figure out where I was. I had no idea I was in ICU.. Platelets had dropped to 5. Throwing up blood. My daughter was okay. I just took a while to come back to world again.

You need to STOP HAVING BABIES. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY, THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM, YOUR BABIES ( remember, one baby died) and your body through this. Its irresponsible.

I’m so happy I heard your video. I have put on my notes that I didn’t ever want to be intubated. I have a lung condition and it would be a good chance I could be. And all those things I hear you say are my biggest fears. I had learned that they have no way of telling how deeply under you are. I know I would have been paralysed and unable to tell anyone.

I am so very sorry that you had to go through this. You are definitely not alone. I was in a coma for quite a while. I was blind, but not deaf during this scary medical complication. I'm so glad that you have overcome this. I have faced death multiple times and have some interesting stories when I died. I pray that you are doing so much better and having a great 2024. Take care!

How long dkd it take for u to start seeing body fat come on? Im twelve days into recovery and eating alot of unsafe foods..aka high carb..some sugars...things i wojldnt allow myself tk eat during restriction...i didnt loose a crazy amount of weight ..just enough to put me under my natural set point and the rapidness in which i lost it has left me wjth loose skin on my face and body...so im tryna fill it back in ...ive just been discouraged cuz i havent seen any notable progress in gaining body fat...my ED started in October 2023 and ended towards end of January...so it was very quick but the rapidness of the weight drop and super caloric restriction did cause me to lose substantial fat...hence the loose skin...whats the normal time frame of gaining back body fat...and will my face fill back out? Im worried ..

I have fine but curly hair but oily roots. I love the pure harmony shampoo so I don’t have an oily scalp anymore but my ends are just soooo dry. I switched from pure harmony conditioner to color awakening and it’s still sooo dry I’m like in tears lol everyone says hydrating cream conditioner is only for super thick coarse hair. UGH

So this has nothing to do with the surgery. It has to do with the fact that you did too much too soon.

Huge wins for you, by the way! This struck me that perhaps fighting your eating disorder, and not giving into the urge to run, and having some of the cookie gave you the internal strength that propelled you to donate the shoes… Again, it’s like you’re inside my head today… I also struggle with the “right” way to do things. Without knowing you at all, I am so incredibly proud of you!

You may have heard this before, but I have often been told, and believe it to be true that allowing our kids to see us struggle teaches them that it’s OK for them to struggle! If they believe their parents have no struggles, they will be ashamed when they struggle… Because as it turns out all humans struggle at different times!

I did need to see this… thank you ever so much! I cannot tell you how many times I’ve looked at my children have been so incredibly jealous of them, eating so freely, knowing when they are full, running off to play, or my teenage kids going out with her friends, getting snacks, etc. and I even struggle with the so called healthy foods. Also so SO relate to the running stuff!

Great review! Bounce curl cream is like that, pea size emulsified into damp/dry hands but applied to wet/saturated hair seems to double-quadruple in quantity - LOVE!
