How to Journal More Mindfully
Hey everyone!
Today I'm sharing some advice on how to journal more mindfully which has helped me in my healing journey and improved my mental health.

Hi there! ♡ I have spent so many years living in shame and finally started finding peace within myself when I "discovered" self-compassion. So in today's video, I'll be talking all about self-compassion, internalized shame and the road back to authenticity. I hope you like it! Here's Dr. Kristin Neffs website about self-compassion: self-compassion.org/ Thank you for watching! Take care, Agnes ♡
TO BE CRINGE IS TO BE FREE

Hey! ♡ This is a heavily unfiltered video of me just opening up about how I've been feeling about doing RUclips lately. I am so tired of the constant overthinking and the FEAR of being seen trying. But I've told myself to suck it up and keep moving forward. I hope you too find the courage to feel "cringe" and "embarrassing" when trying new things whatever it may be. I think it will be worth it....

this video makes great points! im excited to get more into journaling
@@vorvious Glad it helped you! Happy journaling!😊
Speaking from personal experience, I would say that shame is the feeling that I have no right to exist whether or not I have done anything deserving of judgement or criticism. In other words, I feel that I have no right to exist simply for the sake of being alive. How many people in the world grow up with the belief that they are worthy of respect simply because they exist?
@@sudoku47 Hitting the nail on the head. Shame runs very deep and is sadly a huge problem we rarely talk about. Hope your doing well.🩷Thanks for watching!
@Agnes.Victoria Thank you for your reply. I would like to take the opportunity here to point out that compassion means that if someone has been officially convicted of murder or arson in a court of law, then we should judge or condemn ONLY the crime. Avoid regarding the offender as a monster or a worthless and despicable nonentity; which of course is much easier said than done! Most people一including myself一will feel sorely tempted to denounce, judge or criticise anyone who has done something bad or wrong!
Hi, we had similar experiences and i also was ashamed in a lot of situations, i let people judge me .. and i judged myself with them. But i don't know how, with time i started to show myself more respect and started to develop my ego. I think a lot of things helped, like seeing myself as a child again and i didn't want little me who was so kind and pure, get harmed. Realizing i am living this life for me, not to serve or please anyone's life, but only mine. I am the person i should make happy. Your value is really all about what value you give to yourself. It all depends on your opinion. It maybe sounds selfish and evil but if i was in a situation where either me or another person would live, i would pick myself... boom it proves i am more important. The rest is just temporary, my hapiness is the only thing that matters. Take care of yourself, bye ♡
@@glycerin3179 I totally understand! I’m so glad you found your way out of that and chose yourself🩷 Thank you for sharing🫶
Your videos are not cringe at all. You look so used to doing videos and confident when you are speaking. So now i am surprised to hear that from you. 😮 But i guess you will get better at it with time and experience, Have a great day
