The Hebrew word, transliterated Hêlêl or Heylel (pron. as HAY-lale), occurs once in the Hebrew Bible and according to the KJV-based Strong's Concordance means "shining one, light-bearer". The Septuagint renders הֵילֵל in Greek as ἑωσφόρος (heōsphoros), a name, literally "bringer of dawn", for the morning star.

Proof the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled in the past: Based on Hebrews 12:22-24, the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26 cannot be separated from the New Covenant fulfilled by His blood at Calvary. See the words "church" and "mount Sion" and "new covenant" and "Jesus" and "blood" in the passage. Are we supposed to believe the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant. Or, is the covenant with the many in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the many in Matthew 26:28? The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America, before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War. What was the earlier understanding of Daniel 9:27 found below in the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate. I think the “he” that holds back the revealing of the man of sin is the archangel Michael who is considered to be the guardian prince of Israel or Gods people. I see no evidence of it being us.

1. The entire prophecy of Daniel 9:24-27 covers a period of “seventy weeks.” This period applies to one complete, sequential block of time. This prophecy would start during the Persian period and would end during the time of the Messiah. 2. Logic requires that the 70th week follow immediately after the 69th week. If it does not, then it cannot properly be called the 70th week! 3. It is illogical to insert a 2,000-year gap between the 69th and the 70th week. No hint of this gap is found in the prophecy itself. There is no gap between the first 7 weeks and the following 62 weeks. Why insert one between the 69th and the 70th week? 4. Daniel 9:27 says nothing about a seven-year period of tribulation, or about any Antichrist 5. The focus of this prophecy is the Messiah, not the Antichrist. Modern interpreters have applied “the people of the prince” who would come to “destroy the city and the sanctuary” (verse 26) to the Antichrist. Yet the text does not say this. In the past, that sentence has been applied to the Romans, who under Prince Titus did “destroy the city and the sanctuary” in'‘A.D. 70 6. “He shall confirm the covenant.” Jesus Christ came “to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.” Romans 15:8. Nowhere in the Bible is Antichrist ever said to make or confirm a covenant with anyone! The word “covenant” always applies to the Messiah, never to the Antichrist! 7. “He shall confirm the covenant with many.” Jesus said, “This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.” Matthew 26:28. Jesus used the same words, because He knew that He was fulfilling Daniel 9:27! 8. “In the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” The 70th week was from A.D. 27 to 34. After three and a half years of ministry, Christ died in A.D. 31, “in the midst [middle] of the week.” At the moment of His death, “the veil of the temple was rent [torn] in twain from the top to the bottom.” Matthew 27. The Great Sacrifice had been offered! 9. “For the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate.” Jesus plainly applied this “abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet” (Matthew 24:15) to the time when His followers were to flee from Jerusalem before the destruction of the second temple in A.D. 70. Jesus told His 12 disciples, “When ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies [the Roman armies led by Prince Titus], then know that its desolation is near.” Luke 21:20, emphasis added. Those disciples did “see” those very events. Christ’s very last words to the Pharisees from inside the second temple were, “Behold, (Your house is left unto you desolate.” Matthew 23:38. Thus Daniel’s prophecy about Jerusalem becoming “desolate” was exactly fulfilled in A.D. 70! Jesus understood this perfectly. 10. Gabriel said that the 70'week prophecy specifically applied to the Jewish people (see Daniel 9:24). During the period of Christ’s public ministry of 3 1/2 years, the Master’s focus was largely upon “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:6). After His resurrection and then for another 3 1/2 years, His disciples preached mostly to Jews (see Acts 1-6). After that second 3 1/2-year period, in 34 A.D., the bold Stephen was stoned by the Jewish Sanhedrin (see Acts 7). This infamous deed marked the then-ruling Jewish leaders’ final, official rejection of the gospel of our Savior. Then the gospel went to the Gentiles. In Acts 9, Saul became Paul, the “apostle to the Gentiles” (Romans 11:13). In Acts 10, God gave Peter a vision revealing it was now time to preach to the Gentiles(see Acts l0:1-28). Read also Acts (l3:46) Thus approximately 3 1/2 years after the crucifixion-and at the end of the 70-week prophecy given for the Jewish people-the gospel shifted to the Gentiles exactly as predicted in Bible prophecy.

I have a hard time believing a demon can bring me into some kind of covenant in my sleep without my express permission. Dreaming about a loved one that has passed is not always the same as necromancy. I am a Christian and have had many sleep paralysis experiences, but as soon as it starts, I rebuke the demons in Jesus' name and awake to continue to pray. I have also prayed to break all vows made by my ancestors. I am an intercessor, and I believe these attacks are a result of my spiritual warfare and being effective in pray. I can often feel these entities in my house before I go to sleep and take authority before going to sleep. I now do what you said I tell it to get out, it has no place in my home, and I take authority over these spirits and cancel their assignments against me or my loved ones. We are in the last days and the warfare is escalating and becoming fierce. I am fighting for the salvation of my loved ones and watching over my grandchildren in prayer. I see it now as spiritual warfare. I agree with you they only come out at night.

At 68 years old and raised in church, I can't believe I was not instructed on the importance of prayer while fasting.... Fasting was not taught. But I see the importance and can speak from experience that this discussion is Truth. Thanks

The clip starts about 3 seconds too early. I could not hear the whole Bible verse you were reading from. - My greatest fear, regarding the rapture. Is the possibility, that only those who are actively looking for the rapture. Will be taken. i base this off of Luke 19:44 and the parable of the 10 virgins at the beginning of Matthew 25. The idea that if we are told to watch for something. There are consequences for not paying attention. - It can be very hard to try to separate out rapture descriptions from resurrection descriptions. Both use similar sounding R words. (in english) Both have similar sounding descriptions, similar events. If you don't believe in a rapture. You are not even trying to make distinctions. This makes it more difficult for people to even consider the rapture. Than other Biblical topics. - i have 3 Bible selections, that are my favorites for getting people to consider the rapture. Isaiah 26: 19-21. Verse 19 is a rapture / resurrection event. Verse 20 is similar to the 5th seal of Revelation 6. Verse 21 Shows the 2nd and 3rd Bowl Judgements of Revelation 16: 3-6. This little selection from the old Testament. Is not as commonly used in this discussion. It also gives a simplified broad view of timing of the event happening before the Bowl judgements. Revelation 7: 9-14 (Especially Verse 14) ALL the details of this verse are hard to argue against. Most read it too quickly. Needing to read it several times for the weight of the details to settle in their mind. - The other thing i find helpful. Biblical contextual narrative. Acts 8: 39 Philip is taken from the location of the eunuch. After the baptism. Other Biblical events, of people being saved from Judgement. Noah, Lot, Moses. Wedding Revelation 19: 6-10 The very last event before Jesus returns. Who is the Lamb marrying? John 20: 29 Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed. - Foundation As i understand it. The first 3-4 generations of church fathers all believed in some version of pre tribulation rapture i know there are many other verses. i find it is not about how many verses you sight. It is about paying attention to the details of every word. It is about understanding the nature of how God works. It is also about trying to understand where and the disconnect happens. If anyone else has standouts they would like to share.

Revisiting this and your opening statements made me realize that nothing really changes. We are all saying the same things now as we did 2 years ago. We are drawing closer and closer to the day Jesus will return and current events just continue to get uglier and uglier, so glad that this is not my final home. Thank you for keeping this message where we can revisit it.

It was a very interesting podcast. On an unrelated note. With Adam and Eve and the Neanderthal timeline a thought came across my mind. What if the water from Noah’s flood made some of the bodies after Adam and Eve made the bone be dated longer than they actually are by 100000 years old or so.

These evil entities no longer can attack me w/ sleep paralysis lately has been coming in dreams. I constantly read the Bible, pray , walk in the spirit but my loved one is demonically oppressed . I believe they r soo trying to get to me as well. She refuses to believe in the true God. She has opened portals thru Kabbalah( witchcraft) tried to talk to her last week about this. I was under emotional attack after leaving her. Ppl don’t see how real this spiritual battle is. Not sure if I would have if it weren’t for these experiences . First told it was mental illness I believed that for years until I SAW and experienced spiritual things that could not be explained away! Thank u Vicki for spreading truths!!!

That's good inductive reasoning and hermeneutic exegesis. Thank you. I may also add that the tithe indictment in Malachi 3:10 can't be universally applied either historically or currently. Not historically, because the narrative was limited to the nation of Israel and further narrowed towards the Levitical Priests in Malachi 1:6 and 2:1. Not currently because tithing wasn't normalized at any point in scripture to be received from earned wages by today's version of a "church", and now we are the Priesthood of all believers here on earth. Jesus is our High Priest Forever in heaven. At the end of the day if tithing is seen as a "get-to do" there no biblical argument. If today's version of tithing is presented as a biblical "have-to-do", that's biblically errant. We're free to give, not bound to pay.
