Benjamin Simmons was my 8 times great-grandfather. I did a drive by several years ago. It's hard to imagine how historic the property is.

I live an hour and half from Lake City and I never knew that the city made a come back with it's artisty downtown area. I usually just go through on Hwy 378 but failed to stopped and check out the downtown area. There's alot of history packed into this video and it was wonderfully presented.

I have an ancestor James McCollough who served as a surgeon in the queen's rangers (British) was a POW and performed a surgery on Frances Marion. James was so impressed by Frances he named one of his Children Frances Marion and it continues in my family to this day.

Looks like a great adventure. Anything at the Karamell-Kuche in Germany is excellent. Our favorite is Biergarten in the Germany pavilion. Pretty good food and a really fun atmosphere. We’ll be down there on New Year’s Day for another vacation and to shoot some content for our channel as well.
