Agreed, stitch what makes you happy. I am also from the PNW.
@@DeviSisk thank you for watching Devi!
Beautiful projects, I love your Halloween House!
😃😃
So glad you are giving us new designers a go! Thankyou!❤I love numbers too, hence why I designed it :) I’ll look forward to seeing your piece develop.
Oh, I LOVE new designers! I will start the numbers soon) I think, it needs its Alphabet Sampler companion too) Thank you for creating such a nice pattern!🫶🏻
Hi my friend! I think you should continue on with the original 20 count fabric for your Autumn stitch! It is lovely! I am always inspired with all your finishes , wips and upcoming projects! I was wondering if you will finish Pollinators as it is from The Blue Flower? Yes, life is short and we must stitch what we love! That horse you are working on is spectacular! Do you like working on the wood as fabric? I love everything you showed and as always, feel enabled! Just want to stitch it all but we must pick and choose! Thanks so much for taking the time to do FT. I always look forward to watching them and talking to you through IG! Have a great week and keep in touch! Hugs!
Hi Patty! I think I will finish the Pollinators eventually but I don’t know how) about stitching on wood - yes, I really like it, my crosses look ideal! But it takes much more floss. I’m happy to enable you 😆
Hi Olga! 🤗 Your stitching and finished projects are so lovely. I admire how much you can finish! I’m not able to focus on a single project for more than a few days, but I wish I could. Your self-reflection about which projects & designers you enjoy is healthy! I recently bought some artwork of a HAED that I own but will probably never stitch, because I realized I just want the art in my life. I am also trying to walk away from some WIPs that bring me no joy or have no purpose. It’s hard to do. I enjoyed visiting with you while I have my morning coffee and now I feel inspired to tackle some stitching. 😊❤ Hugs! -Leah
Hi Leah! Thank you for sharing your own thoughts about all the wips! Honestly, I only work on one project for 3-4 days, so I’m not so consistent) I will continue to revise what I have and what I actually want to stitch, so it could be some de-stashing again)
I enjoyed seeing your beautiful finishes and other stitching. As far as the autumn sampler, if you are worried about the thread not showing, why not just change the thread a shade or two darker or lighter, based on preference, instead of starting completely over. The fabric you are stitching in is beautiful. It is a pretty sampler for sure. Take care and happy stitching!
@@stitchingbytheriver8666 thank you so much for watching! I thought about changing the variegated thread for it, we’ll see🙂
I love all your stitching, thank you for sharing ❤
As usual you don’t disappoint, great content, I always look forward to Monday’s. Thank you for making my week 😊❤
@@robinwatson6651 oh, your comment made my morning! I hope I will have enough to show in two weeks)
I agree Olga. Stitch what makes you happy. My list is different from yours, but I love to see your stitching! I have recently put some WIPs away, at least until after I retire and have more time. I love Teresa Wentzler, and have stitched 4 of hers, but right now - I do not have the time or energy her designs take. Three years ago, I did not like samplers, now that is what I stitch almost exclusively!! I wish we had more time. I hope your remodelling goes well, and is over soon. As you know, we have recently done the same - although it was a great result, I am so glad we have the house to ourselves again!!
I stitched and gave away one Teresa Wentzler piece (The Storyteller), I was so proud of myself) It is a lot of work! I’m waiting my home to come back to us again) And I also will have a new wall space for my stitching)
Love Monster House! The framed Halloween mug is so cute. Your Rosewood Manor piece is lovely.
Thank you so much for watching!🫶🏻
Happy to watch here again . I received beautiful news , my niece is going to have a baby 😁 . The pattern , fabric & floss should arrive tomorrow . You can guess that will be top of my list to complete ! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work & finishes . Always inspiring to get me stitching more . ✌️💕🙏🙏
Oh ! If it were me , I wouldn't restart that sampler . I think it will be fine but it's your stitch . Either way it's very pretty .
Of course you will stitch the birth sampler! How exiting!
Thank you! I probably will continue on this fabric
It is so nice seeing you again. Your framed finishes turned out beautiful. I agree with you about Long Dog Samplers, they are very intriguing, but I would never attempt to stitch one. This year I stitched a Rosewood Manor chart called "And a Forest Grew". That is the largest pattern I have stitched and I love it. Your Halloween ornament tree is very pretty!!! Take care❤
I wouldn’t restart the sampler. I love the look of your progress so far.
@@pameladutton5920 Don't reply to my comment
It is fine) I see all of them)
Hi Alice! Nice to see your comment as usual! Thank you! I would like to stitch “And a Forest Grew” one day, it is so pretty!
Thank you for the response! I went far enough with the piece to restart on the one hand. On the other hand- what if it will be prettier on another fabric… Oh, those dilemmas!
Good evening from Ireland
Hello there! 🫶🏻
Love how all the stitching looks on the 14 count aida. I also like 14,16 cou t aida. Sometimes 18 cou t. Great video thank you for sharing
@@nanstanton4085 thank you for watching! I really like 14 and 16 Aida too! Also stitching on 18 and 20, looks good too)
As usual I love your video. You have so much done. I think there are some stitchers that want to wipe down, which is also my case. I just planned 2 official start a year my birthday and the new year) and then it is 2 wip down = 1 start (and 1 start if I feel it), whatever the size of my wip. My goal one day is to have 4 wips (1 by season) in small or medium size and 2 to 3 big one between big samplers and full coverage). Which means a total of 7. I have big full coverage that need to be finished but some are barely started. And you, do you have an idea of you ideal number of wips ?
Thank you Sandrine! I thought about wiping down a lot! In my case what I did - revisited all my wips (some of them are barely a start), and decided not to stitch like half of them. I’m trying all the new to me designers now and some of them are just not my cup of tea even though I like how the piece looks. For now I have a list of designers I want to stitch more (not so long list!) I think the most comfortable number of wips for me is 5-7 (if I want some finishes which are not smalls)
Awesome video, thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for watching!🫶🏻
What more can I say … your finishes, wip and new starts are all amazing and great choices 😁
Thank you Sabrina! I like all of yours too!🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Olga, it is always wonderful seeing you. Thank you for mentioning me, you are too sweet. Wow! All of your finishes are gorgeous. You are so great at getting things done, that I am sure you will accomplish all you want in October. Best of luck with your renovations!! This video was so good that I can't wait to watch it again. Happy stitching!!!
Thank you so much Alice! I’m trying to stitch in the middle of the house remodeling now and I’m not very successful) But hopefully I will have something to show in the next video)
Hi Olga! Your stitching is beautiful as always! I’m looking forward to seeing your new framed pieces. How nice that you went to the PNW retreat!! Thank you Beth! It means a lot! My deepest condolences to you too, losing a parent hurts so bad 😢
Olga, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope stitching was helping you. You have great projects as usual but my preference in this video is the main one from Bothy threads. It is so adorable.
Thank you Sandrine! 🫶🏻
Hi. Condolences on the passing of your dear mother. I pray you will find great solace in her memories. What's the pattern of the framed work behind you?
Hi! Thank you for your kind words! The framed piece behind me was a retreat piece from Ink Circles (not released to the public yet) named “Forest For The Trees”
Olga, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. ❤ I know it is even more difficult not living near your family. Sending you a big hug! I’m glad you are still stitching and making videos. Whenever you can do it is okay! The sleeping dog is so adorable, and so is the little beaver. I love the Art Deco flower series. ❤ Take care, my friend! -Leah

Hello!I just discovered you on floss tube and you are a joy to watch!! I loved seeing your projects and your haul. The kits with the animals and teacups stitched on the wood are so fun.... I think I will be needing some of those. I am about to purchase the same Long dog you did. I am in love with that pattern. It will be my first Longdog. Your forest finish was lovely!
