Yea you're right. i could have played bxa5, Ra1 , Re8 , Rxa5 , Kb7. This probably a line I could have played which both side have 2 pawns. but I just thought it would be easier to just give him the pawn and play a rook endgame.

If Rxc3. My rook got f5 ,Rf5 will go to b5. So Rb5+. king only has 1 move Kc8 and Ra8# is checkmate.

That’s the whole point! I’m making this challenge difficult and not easy. Also thank you for the heads up about not enough people to play against to get 2500. I appreciate it! There’s a reason I don’t do Blitz. I cant commentate or explain my plan I’m too focus on the board same goes to bullet

@ yeah at 2200 there is around 3000 people at or better then you in raped and then you have to take in consideration how many of them are active or playing a game right now so I can’t even imagine how long it takes to find a opponent at 2500 level

Well if active play it took me 2.5 years of play chess to reach 2000 elo. And No you don’t have to start young to reach 2000 elo. I started playing chess when I was 14 during the pandemic 😷. Then around 2022-2023 I play but not that much. I would say getting to 2000 takes time and dedication! It’s like any other sport! To be better at it first you must understand after understanding you must input it into your games. Hope I answer your question!

Well I’m making a Anyone Can Be 1500 Guide soon! But what I would say is Practice your tactic. And try to implement the CCA checklist. What is CCA checklist. Is check , capture and Attack. Try to spot of any check you could give , any capture , any attack! And most importantly the most difficult part is to try to view from your opponent perspective. Like do they have any check on you ? Any capture ? Any attack ? That’s all I would say because when I was 1100 I implement this thought process I gain till 2000 with addition of opening theory! If there’s anything else I can help feel free to ask!

@@MisterCV_Chess I see, thanks for that reply I’m genuinely writing that down! CCA, on both me and the other person. I’m enjoying this series so much, I really don’t want it to end. What are you thinking of doing after you get 2500? 3000 would be kinda nuts but I’d be there for it.

@@gbaewatkins876 don’t worry me getting to 2500. Would take more than 1-2 years. After that I would make Instructive content and my Fide tournament game which were interesting!

Great question! If I know I would be busy this week I would pre record 2-3 Games ( if I know I’m playing great ) if not I won’t want a losing streak. But usually I play 1 game per day. And No I don’t have a second account.

@@bizon33obroty I try to educate myself and understand. But I made this series to bring everyone my Journey of hitting 2500. ( Most likely 400 days+ ). Additionaly to answer your question I would say it would take 4-5 months for you to hit 2000 Rating. But definitely is doable. Most of the people take 2-7 years to hit 2000 rating. But anything is possible if you are desire for it!

@@bizon33obroty Yes i do Educate myself i watch grandmaster endgames and study opening positions and all. it just takes time. As you can see I have been completely winning most of my games. Just hard to convert. Unfortunately :(
