Rather than the stupid Milton Berle bit, they should've juxtaposed Saturday Night with Howard Cosell's show of the same name airing in prime time on ABC, which had Bill Murray and Christopher Guest on it as the Prime Time Players.

Aykroyd was uncomfortable with the hard hat sketch in real life. He did have brief relationships with Laraine Newman and Gilda. Bill Murray also had a relationship with Gilda.

The sound needs to be balanced better. Trying to listen on headphones but gave up after a minute or two because Darin is way quieter than John. Fix your sound, then I'll listen. I realize that makes me sound like a Karen, and that's not what I'm trying to do. There are people out there who have trouble hearing, that includes me (tinnitus). So if I have trouble hearing Darin, I could turn it up really high then John's voice will hurt my ears. I'm not going to keep turning up and down for a podcast. That's a shame because I did want to listen to it.

As a fan of 'The Honeymooners', this is some awesome content. I was born in early-1989 & was first introduced to 'The Honeymooners' sometime in the mid-1990's because of my dad & the fact that he had a VHS box set of the original 39 episodes.

Re: Lost episodes... imo only one lost episode approaches Classic 39 level. It's called "A Weighty Problem." Re: "What's That Sound?" I didn't get the right answer. My only guess was Ralph's reaction when Norton says, "Reverse the charges" in "On Stage." Re: The trivia question. Why did they stop at 39 episodes of the classic 39 Honeymooners? What did they say in 1956 in the newspapers and or TV Guide magazine why the show ended after only 2 seasons?

TNT Channel in 97. I clearly remember watching this when I was 12.

I just found your podcast, much catching up to do. My father received tickets to The Honeymooners episode 7, Better Living Through TV, I was 12 and my brother was 9. We were lucky that the seats were in the balcony because we could see over the several cameras on the stage. We also went to episode 38, same seats, Dial J for Janitor. Love watching the episodes again on dvd.
