Rograkh. It's arguably the "best" deck in cEDH and if you don't deal with it turn 1 or turn 2, you most likely lost. But removing Rograkh sets them back really bad, and sometimes enough to keep them out of the game completely.

People liked to build decks in a vacuum. Combos are pretty hard to pull off, especially telegraphed ones because you have 3 opponents who can take you out before you fully get there. The best deck I've ever seen in the wild was Dihada + Ruinous Ultimatum. She comes out protected and then ramps to play Ultimatum and then it's just lights out for everyone.

It is a cEDH deck. And that’s without the proper lands, I’m sure it would be closer to $5k in reality

I like it. Jeska's Will seems exceptionally amazing in that build or anything impulse draw red card.

I could go either way honestly. Food Chain can be used to get extra mana in a pinch. Cloudstone would require us to have 2 mana neutral/positive creatures and there aren’t as many with dockside gone. Sticker goblin would be the swap if I went that way.

@@Medicinalmagic911I’d try it for sure. Cloudstone could be a little easier to tutor for. Foodchain is just a 2 card combo though but needs those 2 specific cards. Conceptually, both get the job done.

But she has synergy with playing an infinite number of creatures which I love to do. Aluren is one of my favorite cards of all time. She seems perfect for what I'm trying to accomplish. She is both sides of the combo, she can be the payoff with storm, or she can be the tutor that assembles the whole combo.

That’s exactly it. The easiest line is Eldritch Evolution with Storm 2 for 3 creature infinite combo. There’s a half dozen other combos, but that’s the smoothest and easiest with the commander

I'd rather not go down a card, and get infinite storm after combat than try to string together 5 spells before combat and hope nobody has a removal spell and get dumpstered

The more I look at other people’s lists, the more I like my own. The ability to attack and then cast spells if she connects seems way stronger to me.

And then you’re not losing cards in hand or getting blown out by a Bowmaster.

I totally agree…until I don’t have a t1 forest. It’s kind of like Snuff Out. It’s so good until that one time it’s not.

The true lynch pin is the deck is Eldritch Evolution. That's the game winning spell. I talk a lot about Aluren, but that is just the "thoracle" of the deck, it's primary win will be assembling the 3 creature combo by turning a creature tutor into a wincon by adding storm to it (and we have multiples of those and multiple ways to tutor them)

I wish I had black for more direct tutors. Gamble and transmuting Drift of Phantasms was the best I came up. Eldritch Evolution is definitely the best line since that can get a game ending combo with 2 extra copies.

We got some unbelievable bangers in the last 6 months for this format. Polygoyf might be the best creature in the format right now. Star Athlete is a menace. Scurry of Squirrels is insane. Thief of Existence removes PW on cast! This format is sooooo good right now. You and I need to get more people onboard.

@@ReyaadawnMTG Absolutely man, and the more content thats on youtube for it, the more eyes we get on it! Oathbreaker views on my channel are always lower, but I've actually had a 10% increase in views in the last few months. I don't know why, but its trending in the right direction!

@@Camp_MTGI have some thoughts and feelings that we’re going to see an uptick in the format in the coming months. Foundations looks like it’s bringing us 5 new planeswalkers and I have a theory we might be getting Oathbreaker decks in there (or decks that could easily be both brawl and Oathbreaker)

@@ReyaadawnMTG On the one hand, I think they had hoped Oathbreaker would take off when they made it an offical format, but since it hasn't, I don't think they will put any resources into trying to make it popular. I hope I'm wrong!

@@Camp_MTG well know if my prediction is right this weekend. But they’re printing some wild cards into the format by ignoring it currently. It’s kind of the Legacy of multiplayer right now in my mind. I also think they’re moving away from the “one planeswalker” idea so we’ll see more. And the show is back on, which is about planeswalkers…it sure seems like the time to push that aspect of the game, the thing that makes it unique.

For a brief moment this actually was a deck using Flumph in Modern

100% agree, but I feel like partners pretty much crossed this line and Emminence and Yuriko…so why not just play it. The nerf also makes is acceptable in my mind.

@@ReyaadawnMTG its fundamentally different than yuriko or partner, as those are restricted to commanders with those abilities, this doesnt care what your mander is, just that its colors include ru, now im fine with people in my pod, but we have a "1 lutri companion deck max" since it goes litterally everywhere.

It's my favorite deck right now. Its great for long days at conventions or events because you can just play it and not have to piece together some complicated combo or boardstate.

It’s my favorite format. No matter how many games I play, I never get bored of it. I have 7 decks built, 8 with this one in the video and am already planning on a 9th. It’s just a more fun and interactive way to play multiplayer

Oathbreaker is the superior multiplayer format on my opinion. Way more fun, way more interactive. I never have a nongame in Oathbreaker

I tried to let them do their thing. They had the game, multiple times, but instead decide to go for the time out…. I think I’m going to bring this deck back to Orzhov. I’m already getting better results

@@ReyaadawnMTG Well it's not every day that someone let you go off on arena, it was an opportunity to show off and they went for it. Btw that snake is very good, i think it would be great with curses like "Torment of scarabs".

@@ephraimsedjro9569I wish we had a better proliferate option and the snake triggered whenever a counter is put on it. It’s still super strong, it just easy to block and then it gets a lot less effective

I built so many mediocre Roots decks I didn’t post. This was the best in my experience but it’s also my playstyle: Endless value.
