Is this what code p099c would refer to?
I do not think so. I believe this can be related to a number of problems that can cause the code. 1) chk transmission fluid level. If low fill to correct level. If it gets low again a leak is possible. 2) wire issue with the trans fluid pressure sensor 3) shift solenoid issue 4) trans control module issue Remember to ask google any question you would ask me. EXAMPLE: What does P099c mean. Try this & google will give you examples of what can be wrong
good
Thank you

Anyone else think the engineer who designed this to give dealerships a $100 should get fired? All should be replaceable without removing the fixture or at the very least ... the fixture should be simple on off. Not a special clip tool purchase to pry it off. We have an exceptionally stubborn light that will need a clip slide to pull it unless we are willing to accept damage.
Sorry to hear this. I often take a strong shoe string and pull. Sometimes it works
Thank you for this video you just saved me a headache
Np
so simply yet I had no idea . I wasn't there when my bumper was replaced
What an asinine set up. Your video helped so much thank you.
Ikr. Crazy. Took me 1 week fuckn w it. Dealer wanted $140 just to look.
THANKS SO MUCH for making this!
Wow, super great explanation. The best, that I think I can do this. Thank you👍
Thx. Just trying to help us all
Great detailed video 👍 good job
Thanks. Just trying to help us all help ourselves!!
thanks bro
Np
That part that cost $35 now goes for $90
Such is life & todays world
so simple, Thank you! saved me a over thinking headache for sure!
Np. Take care
If engine light is still on after replacing both coil and spark plug but the car runs fine do I have to reset the code?
Yes. U must reset all or any CEL (CHK ENG LITE) after any work has been completed
@@madetohelpyouthanks brother! I just realized you stated this near the end of the video too
Np. Your human. Lol
Thank you for the video bro. I had a P0365 code come up on my 07 Es350. I changed the one in the rear bank 1 super easy.
Np. Glad could help
Man, you and this video just saved me $700 which is what Meineke was going to charge my daughter to replace an ignition coil on the Cylinder 2 that had a misfire code P0302 on BlueDriver after she had already spent $500 for 4 spark plugs and an oil change!! I was able to replace the engine coil MYSELF thanks to you! God Bless!!!❤🙏🏾😁
Np brother. Thats all im trying to do is help mankind save$$$$ and help themselves
Thats tail lights. Not the brake lights.
Lol
It's the same bulb
Does this part fit for a Hyundai 2017 Eco?
Hi U would have to contact your local autoparts store or go to www.rockauto.com and put in your vehicles info. Go to the ignition section
@@madetohelpyou you saved my life, I couldn’t afford it from local auto parts it was too expensive, and I found it in the website. I told them I heard about them thru you!
Wow. Im glad i was able to help
I did my chant e my ignition coil today like 5 months again the spar plugs now today I changed it still shaking it vibrating.
I would see a local mechanic as their are a number of reasons for this that should be evaluated by an onsite mechanic who can physically look at the vehicle
@@madetohelpyou I have scanner i scanned it it says p0301 misfire cylinder 1 so based on that I tried I erased it it came back again I drive for 3 km it’s shaking grrrrr grrrr engine light came back
Make sure u have no lose vacuum hoses or holes. Make sure you dont have a valve cover leak. Chk pcv valve for leakes. Start car and let idle. Then disconnect ignition coil for the cylinder still having misfire. If the car run better with that 1 ignition coils connector removed then the coil itself if the issue
Only disconnect the coils electrical connector while car is idle and listen to see if it runs better
@@madetohelpyou yeah thank you so much for the tips. I just tried it but I changed ignition Coil i got a new ones and then I use some kind of grease for the spark plug and then the other one comes with it and then what happens is I erase the engine light symbol I had the yellow sign one it’s gone, but it’s like vibrating a little bit not too much. While on the intersection
How’s you get that inner guide tube out?
Just like in the video
worked…. Easy fix .. Car was cutting off . Thanks!!!
Np. Glad it helped
You answered all of my questions. Thanks and good video
Np
Thanks for showing us this. I just bought a new off road bumper and had no idea how to get the old tube off and replace it. I did what you did and just bought a whole new kit. It was so rusted out that it just snapped in half. Thanks again for this it was a huge help.
Your welcome
Yes video was awesome man very helpful 👏
Welcome
This is the easy way that someone actually did it and explained it damn ha ha the other videos were horrible this is awesome 👍
👍
I replaced the rear bumper on my Silverado a couple weeks ago and I was kind of stumped on the spare tire hoist cap so I had left it in my old bumper. 5 minutes after finding your video I had it out and got it all figured out now. All I need to do is buy a new retaining ring kit and it will be on the new bumper. You made a very helpful video.
👍 glad i could help
Thank you for clarifying! i thought i was crazy
Np. Your not crazee. Theyre for making a product w no instructions
Hello how are you If p0368 bank 1 needs to be replaced does all of them need to be replaced as well of just that one ?
Only the one that set off the chk eng lite. Each 1 will set off a different code
Thank you and Jesus loves you
Thanks!!
How many sensor are there, 4 or 2?
I believe this will fix my issue but even if it doesn't, I appreciate the great video, very helpful!
👍👍
What bulb did you purchase for this?
Sorry, video is a year old and i dont own the car. Take old bulb into Walmart or autoparts store.
Thanks
👍
Gracias... Saludos
Welcome
I grew up before goggles we a thing, options😂
👍
Any chance you know the fuse location for the break lights? I replaced the light bulb, but it still won't work.
Hi Sorry i dont own a hyundai was just working on that car 1 day. If you are changong the brake light bulbs and BOTH are not lighting up when u step on the brake. The most common cause is a bad brake light swith located on the brake pedal. Open the fuse panel box and read as it should tell u what fuse controls what
@@madetohelpyou yeah lucky enough it was just a burnt out break light so I replaced the whole piece to fix it.
Good job buddy
Thanks brother straight to the point
Np. Try to do this always but some other videos i try not to leave out helpful stuff
So I checked the two fuses that may be the cause, they ware fine. I replaced the break light switch still having the issue. Would you say the assembly is the last thing to replace that should fix it ?
Ok. If your shift is still stuck in park & u still need to use the method outlined in my video after all youve done. Then yes the assembly needs to be replaced. Check Junkyard first
Thanks a lot!! My question is, how the heck did this happen to begin with???
I learned it by mistake after the dealer wanted $130 to ONLY look at it. Went home & played w my no instructions and accidently figured it out. Lol. They should be ashame to make a thing w no instructions
I went to auto zone and bought the ignition coil but it sits up very high where bolt doesn’t go in
👍
Sorry. Lots of responses. If it doesnt fit just like the old 1 then im guessing its the incorrect 1 they sold u or something fell in hole causing the coil to sit higher?? Let me know
I thought i was giving thumbs up 2 another. I get SO MANY notification. Forgot to send my reply 2u
Very helpful video. Just what I needed to see. Thank you.
Np. Trying to improve how I make videos. Thanks
It does not slide out that easy, please stop.
All cars are not made by the same person. Sometimes regardless of another's experience. U may have to be brave & use some MUCLE. put a shoe string around it and try, try, try. Your not the first to struggle with this altho many others have had a SMOOTH path to removal. Best of luck
Fyi. The day & location yours was installed at whatever factory. That person was on their phone & used too much sealant. Lol
This was super helpful!
Welcome
@@madetohelpyou I replaced my spark plug, but my engine misfired again a few days later. Same p0302 code. It doesn't misfire every time I turn the engine on. The car shakes when I turn it on, but once I start driving, the shaking stops. What do you think the issue might be?
Could be any number of things. I would see your local mechanic
Excellent! Buying that kit today in anticipation of working on a rust belt SUV. I know that thing is going to be toast if it's anything like the bumper face which is barely hanging on.
Your welcome
Np. Best of luck
It still misfires even after coul and plug replacement
Did u get plugs that must be gapped?
U may want to see your local mechanic as u may have another issue causing the misfire. Is it one cylinder? U may want to check the engine for compression. U can purchase compression kits at Harbor Frieght & there are 100's of videos on utube showing u how to perform this simple test
Well done taking your time explaining every little detail. Talking clear thank you
Np. I try my best to help all and clearly as possible. Your very welcome
Hello I have a question. My valve covers look similar to yours. They're covered in old oil and gunk. What could be the issue?
Hi U may have a leak around the valve cover. Look on the sides with a bright lite looking for wet spots. Also look at the the black gromets where the screws hold down the cover looking for wetness. Specially when the engine is running which produces pressure. Otherwise if nothing is found just junk that you can vacuum out when the eng is cold and clean w a rag & brake parts cleaner
Also where u see all of the gunk look at the eng itself too & make sure no leaks are on that side where the v-cover sits. Engines sometimes just build up dirt and if you have no leaks its just from over time. Broken crap & scraps. But the most common cause of the black buildup is a leak
@@madetohelpyou alright thank you man really appreciate the response. I'm gonna check these things out. Great tip to check it when it's running
Np
Very helpful ... thank you man ..I spent like 1 hour just figured out... thanks for sharing...... thank you 🙏👌👏👏👏👏
Np. Dont feel bad. Took me 3 days and learned by mistake. No F@^/@ instructions. Dealer & local shops wanted $120 to look at it. Lol
I used a rubber mallet tapped on screw studs after the nuts are removed. Tapped on them while pulling on the light fixture. Thank you for the video.
Np. Next time if tough tp get out. Use a shoe string
@@madetohelpyou ok will try it
Thank you, as this was very helpful to replace these pieces.
Np. Take care
They could have made this thing with a twist lock like pvc plumbing
I agree buddy. We would surely be better engineers. Lol
so can having a bad pcv valve be the cause of the engine to start up and struggles to idle then shuts off ??
Hi I dont think so. There are a number of issues that can cause this. 1st. A bad vacuum leak. Check around the intake air hose carefully looking for a large crack. 2nd lack of fuel or extremely dirty fuel injectors. 3rd bad or failing throttlebody, 4th clogged fuel filter, 5th faulty Egr valve, in no specific order.6th faulty idle air control valve
Start with vacuum leak thats large. Then fuel filter & fuel system ie pump. If fuel filter hasnt been changed in long time. Some filters are intergrated into the pump & do not req they be serviced. Idle air control valve, throttlebody egr valve. These are my guesses, possibly pump may not be pushing enough fuel to engine to keep it running. Start car and see if pressing the gas pedal a little keeps the car running. If not throttlebody or fuel issue im thinking. Goodluck
Look inside throttlebody plate looking for carbon build up around the door. Clean with throttle cleaner & spray on rag & clean good. DO NOT spray directly into throttlebody as doing this often keeps the car from starting until it fully drys
Check fuel pump fuse. Trying to think of what u can do yourself to help
@ Tony Staggers replying to this suggestion. "Start car and see if pressing the gas pedal a little keeps the car running." i tried this and when I start the car I would have to push on the gas pedal right after I would start it because. when starting the car, The RPM starts off at somewhere around 2000 to 2500 RPM then would drop all the way down to about 200 to 500 RPM "below 1000 rpm." Struggles to stay on kind of backfiring A little. The only way to keep the car running I would have to keep pumping the gas pedal to like build up the rpms. but as soon as I let off the pedal it would die down and turn off I've also tried hocking up to the car for a number code. but there was no codes found. idk what to do ive tried most of these things
