    As a Ryobi product buyer located in the USA, I find it interesting to see the stuff they make that we can't get here... or simply can't make use of (as is the case with this product). Thanks for the video.

    • @jaymax1553
      @jaymax1553 День назад

      I can very well see how it may not be useful for the every day handy man but also can’t overlook the possible applications for it, I’ll adjust the title of the video though. It can save a person money as it can be used for lighting, or a solder station and even a charger not that it’s any good at that though 😂 Thank you again for your comment I value your insight and point of view.

      @floobertuber День назад

      @jaymax1553 Oh, I agree it's useful, it's just that we have a completely different AC power system here. I don't own anything that can fit that socket type. I do own the US version though, as well as the RIDGID equivalent product.

    • @jaymax1553
      @jaymax1553 22 часа назад

      @ I completely forgot that the US uses V120, at one point when I was considering where to move to in the world 🌍 this was actually a deciding factor for me. I’m currently studying electrical and always get confused when we start looking at the US wiring 😅 I should be more open minded, %80 of my views are from the US so I’ll try make better comparisons and show prices US, UK and NZ Thank you floobertuber, for your support 😊

    I recently bought a 1600W sine wave inverter for 5000 yen that comes with cables to clip onto a car battery.

    • @jaymax1553
      @jaymax1553 22 часа назад

      @@AWBuilder that’s a brilliant idea, I also use a small 300w inverter for charging my batteries and laptop. I may make a video on a 1500w and 3000w inverter for powered compressors and corded tools. Thank you AWBuilder, for your support 👍

    • @AWBuilder
      @AWBuilder 8 часов назад

      @@jaymax1553 I got it for the purpose of powering corded tools when I go to the home store and need to cut down large pieces of timber rather than paying to have it done. Also, I am able to take some aircon units from a house that is disconnected from the mains, so I can use it for powering up the units to store the refrigerant in the base unit. But I will have to see if my inverter has enough power for the job.

    This is the weakest half inch HP impact wrench ryobi makes. It’s still pretty strong and can hit 275-325 lbs/ft but you should really be comparing the p262 mid torque and or pbliw01b high torque impacts to compressor run pneumatic impact wrenches. But as someone who has used the HP p262 and the HP 3/8” extended reach ratchet for 2 years ryobi HP tools are the best value and quality for the price on the market. But to get the best performance you need at least a 4ah HP battery. I don’t have any of the cheap non Hp batteries so I don’t know how much performance you miss out on but I’ve had 2-4ah, 1-6ah and 1-2ah HP batteries and the 2 really isn’t worth it for high draw tools like impacts but the 4 and 6ah batteries definitely deliver torque and performance, I’ve even dropped the p262 in a bucket of atf and it fully submerged I just spun the motor dry as soon as I pulled it out of the fluid and it never missed a beat but I just got the high torque with another 4ah hp battery and charger all for $139 in total for the 3 hp tools 5 batteries totaling 20ah and 2 chargers I’ve spent $480 and it wouldn’t have cost double that for Milwaukee and I would have needed to buy into 2 battery platforms (m12 & m18) so I’m very happy with ryobi’s HP line which most people inaccurately dismiss as much lower quality than Milwaukee or dewalt but I would rather not waste money on tools just for the name. I want the best performance and quality at the lowest price and the other option is harbor freight (which isn’t available across the lint) which is really just rebranded dewalt tools for just under double the price (best deal I’ve found was recently the high torque 1/2” with a 5ah battery and charger was $210) but the ryobi deals usually blow Hercules and any other brand out of the water. I would like to buy the dewalt dcf961 high torque 1/2” because that thing is stronger than many 3/4” high torques and maybe the ridged right angle 1/2” if ryobi doesn’t release their own in the next 1 or 2 years but hopefully it doesn’t come to that. I don’t want to have to deal with multiple batteries and adapters.

      Your amazing, thank you for such a detailed and helpful comment. You have convinced me I need to make a more detailed video covering more range and try more battery’s. It’s strange that they included such a weak battery, must be because it’s a bit old 😅 will definitely get a better battery and charger.

      @@jaymax1553 what country are you in? I think in the USA it’s mostly HP batteries with HP tools unless you buy a cheap drill driver kit then they give you 2- 1.5ah cheap batteries but if you buy around Father’s Day or Christmas/Black Friday you can usually get a good deal on an HP tool with a charger and 4ah hp battery like I did recently. I always wait till sales to get a new tool because I am poor and want to maximize the value I get. But I really recommend the HP extended reach ratchet and the P262. Unfortunately the p262 wasn’t strong enough for my fwd Bearing press which is why I wanted the high torque. But I am a big fan of ryobi’s HP line. Now I just want the right angle die grinder and the hackzall.
