Home Free is the real deal. They’re a cappella so there are no instruments. The man doing the harmonica with NO harmonica does that sound for real and he was doing drums and other sounds with his mouth. Watch Adam Rupp Drum Solo (2015). It’s just him with a microphone doing drums!! This song is over 100 years old so they went blue grass style. They can all sing and all take the lead depending on the song and they sing all genres of music. I’ve seen them live 3 times and they are tremendous talents. Try End of the Road!

Home Free members aren't from Kentucky. The first singer, Austin Brown, is from Georgia. The second singer, Rob Lundquist, is from Minnesota. The bass singer, Tim Foust, is from Texas. The man who did the mouth harp, Adam Chance (Chance), is from Alabama. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, is from Minnesota and one of the founders of the group. And yes, Adam was making the harmonica sound, along with the drums and everything but the mouth harp. There is no definite lead singer, any of the 4 can sing lead according to the song. There has been a change since this song was put out. Austin Brown left the group to spend more time with his bride and was replaced by Adam Bastien (Bastien). Tim Foust, the bass, can sing so low he blows speakers but can also sing tenor (5 octave range), Chance is baritone/bass, but also can go up to tenor (4 octave range). Rob is tenor, as is Austin. Bastien is also tenor, replacing Austin. Adam, the beatboxer is a tenor when he sings with the group. They all can beatbox to a degree, but Adam is a wizard at it. He solos for about 10 minutes in the middle of their live performances. The group has 2 bass, 5 tenors, and 5 beatboxers. They can sing any genre, country, folk, doo wop, pop, rap, disco, and more. They can range from humorous to serious or make statements with their songs. Everybody Walking this Land is a good example of making a statement and the people shown are Home Fries (what fans of theirs are called). They sometimes use their fans, friends, and family in their videos. React to some of their live performances along with videos to get an idea of who they are.

Not sure I would rate this a 7 but as it’s piqued your interest I hope you’ll be willing to check out more music by #HomeFree. They have a large catalog of many genres from silly to serious and everything in-between. Since I have no idea what you gravitate towards I suggest you look through their selection and pick something. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed from covers, to collaborations to originals, they’ve got it all.

This is an a capella band, that means no instruments. The beatboxer, Adam Rupp, was also doing the harmonica, otherwise known by Home Fries as a “nomonica”. Yes, they can do this live. The jaw harp sound was done by Adam Chance. Every one of them can sing. They have a huge fan base called Home Fries and they will show up here. They. have a lot of videos to explore. I recommend headphones because I guarantee you didn’t hear the full measure of the song. I recommend End of the Road , Butts remix, Listen to the Music..
