Love these videos, but every D-jose kills me. They say it in FFX and the D is silent. After so many playthroughs of FFX, Yuna’s line “and before all that, we get to pray at the temple at Djose!”.

Paine knows how hard 100% is to get and that’s why she tells Maechen off.

I never noticed how flat the fruit on that table in Guadosalam was before this playthrough. You can really see it around 5:30

Fun fact: you can learn a rare Blue Magic from Baralai in that fight. Just gotta be willing to wait for him to use it.

Finally the Titus and Yuna in my story got their perfect ending. I failed to do this as a teenager when the game was new, played through like 15 times and only ended up with percentages in the 90s. I remember telling myself that one day I'll get their perfect ending and their story would be complete for me. Thanks for this guide, it helped a million times over.

Yuna - 85 [Mascot / Higher Power G.G] (Crystal Bangle (+100% HP)) - (Champion Belt (+40 STR/+40 DEF) Rikku - 88 [Lady Luck >> Thief / Treasure Hunt G.G] (Cat Nip (SOS ????)) - (Ribbon) Paine - 89 [Mascot / Higher Power G.G] (Crystal Bangle (+100% HP)) - (Champion Belt (+40 STR/+40 DEF) Higher Power Garment Grid gives Auto Break HP Limit, so going into the Trema Fight, Paine had 12000 HP and Yuna had 11794. Here's what I did, I switched Rikku from Lady Luck to Thief and used the item Stamina Tonic which doubled my parties HP, Yuna cast Moogle Wallja on the party, and Paine traveled around the Higher Power G.G to unlock Break Damage Limit. Yuna took on the role of Healer, using Phoenix Down on Rikku, and Moogle Cure on herself and Paine, (Altho with 24000 and 23800 HP each, it wasn't needed often) Paine would use Cactling Gun for about 40,000 per hit, Rikku was a dud in this party with Cat Nip, 75% of her hits were misses, in hindsight, I probably could have won faster by switching her to Beserker and just had her use Mug and Evade & Counter. This fight was so fast and easy for me because of your guide, I'm right on track for 100% Ending, thanks for the many hours you spent playing and putting this together. I'll let you know how the end goes. You're very lucky to get Rabite's Foot, it's a rare drop from Jumbo Cactuar, something like 1 in 50 drop it. Can't wait to grind that out lol

With the answers you gave in earlier chapters, there's a statue of Yuna (As a Gunner) beside the Hot Springs! If you go up the mountain a bit further, you'll find Khimari's Statue with Lian and Ayde running around it. If you talk to them, they will give you the Conflagration Garment Grid (Equip to use Black Magic and pass thru R B G to use Flare)

rip me I must not have slept in the cabin Ch 1, even though I swear I did for every chapter 😭💀I also started this game following a not great 100% guide, then found your vids to cross reference everything which has been a big help. NG+ gonna get that 100 edit- I also didn't get the option to go onstage for Tobli, even though I completed everything the guide I was originally following said to do for this option. I don't wanna talk sht because the folks who wrote these older guides that show up above everything else on google searches took a lot of time to do what they did, but I've found so many frustrating glaring errors or incorrect info as a first time ffx2 player. Anyways.

Great guide! You miss a treasure chest with a Muscle Belt at the top of the steps when entering the Highroad from Luca, it's kind of hidden.

For me when I'm in the commsphere at Mi'ihen specifically looking at the ruins one, the machina doesn't show up at all. Does this mean I did something wrong in a previous chapter and won't be able to 100%? I read something about catching the Chocobo back in ch 2 but I don't know.

there's also a way to bypass the spells from Gerosgaeno (since he Loves Casting Spells) is to have a Psychic Dressphere with all the Spell eaters and instead of taking damage you can regain HP while fighting him

Oh yeah, you know you're back on the MRR when you step inside and immediately get jumped by the worst thing in it! The Tonberry fight got a good laugh out of me, they're tough as driftwood this early on

It's one of the more wholesome aspects of this game that old touches and character flair returns through the main trio. Yuna shouting "SEE YA" like she heard Tidus do so many times? Adorable. Yuna and Rikku using the swords of Auron and Tidus? Makes you feel like they're still hanging around, just a little.

As much as I love the FFX games, their minigames and progression activities always eluded me. Never could understand how a normal player was meant to do most of it, so this is actually an ideal way to experience this
