Pointe Pahua is just south of BoraBora yacht Club restaurant and anchorage, I found this Manta Ray cruising the edge of the coral shelf just beside the beacon.

This is a video of the snorkelling on an incoming tide at the Tetamanu pass. The snorkelling is amazing and the clarity of the water us spectacular.
Pufana Beacon Snorkelling

Pufana Beacon is near the northern entrance to Fakarava atoll. There is a good mooring there and the fish life there is great. You can swim right around the coral head that the beacon is on and the black-tip reef sharks follow you around. Really a great snorkelling site as you can just take your time since it is out of the current. Lots of parrot fish.

Nice video. What was reason to remove mast ? We are looking at E60’s as viable next boat once baby is another year older. Just sold our other cat…time for more space and speed. How’s she sail ?
The insurance requires the rigging to be replaced every 10 years. Eleuthera sails really well. Especially reaching and downwind but we get much better performance upwind than we expected as well. Likes 15kts and then goes beautifully. Like any cat not good into head-on 2m short interval swells!! WE love the area we have though lots of people ask why so big. We found that the 60 ft cats were the same price as the 45 ft cats when we were looking for long-range performance in second-hand boats. Good Luck and enjoy.
