Hello and Welcome to my channel.
On this channel you will find videos of Washing Machine videos and a few random things too as well as a few vids about certain parts of New Zealand. Most Washing Machine videos on this channel are Fisher & Paykel which is my favourite brand of appliance.
Sorry but I do not take requests as I have a job and I wouldn’t enjoy my hobbies as much if I did.

In this video we do a full load of towels in my Fisher & Paykel MW059NZ Washing Machine with a GW509NZ 1st style display unit on the machine, for this to work I had to plug a thermistor into the motor controller. I have got a couple more videos to upload of this machine with this control panel on it so stay tuned.

This is my Frigidaire branded Fisher & Paykel LW085F Washing Machine made in August 1997, this machine has got a Fresh Smart Drive 9 LW095 panel which is an indication that it has been replaced at some point in time but the machine itself is a Phase 4 though.

These machines were at a house that we rented out over Christmas 2023 so as these are not my machines I can’t take requests for them, the manufacturer date of both machines is June 2012 for the washer and June 2006 for the dryer.

This Maytag Washer and Dryer was made after Whirlpool bought Maytag and the quality of Maytag slowly started dropping off as a result but this is still one of the decent made Maytag’s before they really did turn to junk. Apologies for the fact that I couldn’t get the machine with the lid open as I don’t know how to bypass the lid switch.

This video I filmed back in October 2023 when I was down in Wellington, Maytag used to be a really good brand until it was bought by Whirlpool and the quality slowly deminished over time and now it’s just junk. But anyway enjoy seeing a proper Maytag in action and I have more videos to upload of the machines here.

Hey, I have the machine the control board is from and it keeps stop starting do you know how to fix it
@@OGslaundry I’d check for fault codes first, this video here will show you how ruclips.net/video/YbpLNMK2w08/видео.htmlsi=b0LTQB7nhZTlnpGd The other thing I would do is turn off auto restart which will cause it to fault straight away if it finds a fault which you can do by entering diagnostic mode and turning off the low water level light and then turning the machine off without unplugging it and then try running it as then it will fault straight away if it finds a fault code, hope this helps. If you need any further help then don’t hesitate to ask.

Just wanted to let everyone know, we haven't done any wash in's since July last year, but we will resume them at some point when we aren't so busy, however i now can say i have a mystery machine to review once i have fixed it and the whirlpool maytag has now been stripped and ready to be scrapped to washing machine heaven!!

I find this machine interesting that it has no cycle selector. I wonder how you do delicates or Wool with this machine or does this machine even do gentle agitation
If you ever want to bypass the lid switch on these old Fisher and Paykels, if you take the lid off, there is a button that gets pressed when the lid closes, you just need to stick something on it to bypass the lid switch
Wrong, this one uses a magnetic lid switch under the top deck

These older F&P Washing Machines you can’t beat them, bulletproof and built like tanks, these machines were known for lasting ages.
@@washingmachinevideosnz923 I kind of wore my 1 out, mind you I was doing around 8-9 loads per day and lasted me 3 years.
Extremely excellent washing action! Everything is moving rapidly and completely under the water! And, the water level is a the top!!❤❤❤❤

Excellent washing action! Everything is moving around alot and staying under the water! And, it fills with water to the top which makes wash action much better!!! These new machines DO NOT USE ENOUGH WATER! THOSE WITH IMPELLORS OR WASH PLATES ONLY DO NOT WASH WELL AT ALL and THEY TAKE CONSIDERABLY MORE TIME!!!

How did you hold the lid switch?
There was a lever I was pushing back, also I have commented on your most recent video too, not sure if you have seen it.
On grn appliances’ machine it has a hole in the middle right with a thing on the same spot on the lid and pushes it down letting it know it’s shut now what you have is a hidden switch on the left side that is pushed by the hinge and it’s in the control panel
Yes hence the reason why I couldn’t bypass the lid switch on this machine
I think the lid switch is on the left side in the control panel kinda like the newer whirlpool direct drive unlike the type of lid switch that Gabriel from grn appliance has

There will be unfortunately no videos will be happening in the near future on that GW609NZ in this video, it unfortunately decided to fry the board and also it started slowly sounding like a jet engine so i've stripped it!! I will be finding another machine for this house, atm i've put the GW701K in until i find another machine to replace the GW609NZ which was the daily driver of the house! I already have a machine in mind, but we'll see!

Don’t think there is a key lock on these, the button with the key symbol is the door release button.
@zacemorton5584 You have to press the lock key for about 3 seconds and it will release the door
