The person, delivering the speech either mislead or a lair. I say this, about a month or so ago, President tells us, increment couldn't be done, in keeping with IMF aggriment. And I am still "going after" the visa fix which you revealed very early on. As the majority shareholder of VFS is a hugely-rich company (Blackstone) run by 2 big funders of AIPAC (& who also rushed to support Israel after Oct 7), I have begun to wonder if Aipac is beginning to spread its tentacles in SL. Why did RW include Israel in visa-free entry to SL at a time it is massacering a helpless? Why have Israelis on tourist visas to SL been allowed to set up businesses down South? Why did a govt politician from that area have posters all over it blazing the support of Israeli youth for him? What is going on here?

But No leader talks about the real issues. 1) 15 lakh civil servants/320,000 army more than required. 3) No corrupt money/property has been recovered. 4) Sri Lanka running corruption in governance. 5) The cost of living has tripled. 6) Salaries of private sector employees with no changes/lack of proper leave & Insurance. 7) Unresolved language/ ethnic issues 8) All political parties are interconnected and relatives. In Sri Lanka, it is not right to separate/name schools based on religion. Why religion in education?? That's where the difference/enmity starts.
