    Hello Amanda, 1st, thank you for the patterns you so graciously provide on your website. I discovered your beautiful work on Pinterest. I was looking for a sweater to knit for my daughters and stumbled onto one of your precious patterns called Cropped Fern Sweater. I am having so much fun making it for my girls. I Do I have a question about the raglan increases. I would have emailed you but I could not find your email on your website. Anyway, my question is, after each raglan increase should I knit one round before going into the next round of increases or just go straight into the next increase? Thank you so much! God bless you! 😊

      @knitinthewombdesigns 8 дней назад

      If you follow the instructions raglan rounds 1-10, you will find the increase rounds are the odd numbered rounds, and the non increase rounds are the even rounds. If you do raglan rounds 1-10 each time you do a pattern repeat you are doing 5 increase rounds in that 10 rounds. Rounds 1/3/5/7/9 are increase rounds, while rounds 2/4/6/8/10 are NOT increase rounds.

      @@knitinthewombdesigns thank you. I thought that the even rounds were for the shoulders. Because when I worked the increases, it worked the amount of the stitches perfectly for the front and the back of the sweater. Thank you Amanda. I appreciate your quick response.

    Thanks for sharing. I have never seen the 2nd long tail cast on before and always appreciate seeing something new and helpful. Also, as an older left handed knitter thanks so much! , I am very glad to see a young person doing left hand tutorials because there is a need for more of them on utube.

    I am grateful for the left handed tutorial. It would be helpful you said when to slide a stitch off the needle. It was a little hard to see and I was waiting to hear you tell me to drop the stitch. I had to unwind a mess 😢

    It depends on the weight and type of yarn and how much is left. If I make a fingering sweater and have enough, I'm 💯 going with socks for my littles. If I make a pair of socks, it always goes into my sock yarn scrap bin, where it will become a square or 2 on a modular blanket. If it's sport or worsted and less than a hat's worth, it goes to my kids for craft projects. If there is enough for a hat, well, you guessed it, hat! If it's bulky wool, it gets made into a mitten for my kiddos, even if it's a small amount since they really love scrappy mittens. What about you?

    Thank you for the tutorial, it is very helpful! However, I just made a mistake during the bind off, and I don't know how to start again after I've gone back a few stitches to fix it... Could you maybe make a video showing how to do that?

    Omg… Eureka!! I got it! Finally. After years of confusion and frustration. Trying to translate right from left, as a lefty knitter. And being frustrated because my increases never look right. Too bad I just finished the increases on my first sweater . I’ll be darned if I’m gonna frog back. Wish I’d discovered you sooner. lol! Oh well. I’ll do better next time 😅

    and would you check the SKIRT BODY measurements? are those numbers to be cm? And at one point you have a lower number instead of a higher number, is that correct? Thanks for your help.

    NOW I know the frustration a Left-handed person feels looking at most knitting tutorials that as done RIGHT-handed. I'm right-handed. I have never made garments because I was afraid I would totally screw it up. I am fairly new to knitting.... but this helped a LOT!! Thank you for sharing. on your blog page: your pattern for WAISTE says: "Work in stockinette stitch (knit every round) for 6.5" "6.5" what??? And skirt body: "Work until skirt measures 28.5, 40 (43.5, 27) 50, 52 (55, 56) 57, 58.5 (60, 61) from top." Doesn't say what those numbers are, but as I go through this pattern, I'm guessing you mean cm? Is that what the 6.5 is to be that I'm asking about, above, too?? CM??? THANKS a MILLION for sharing your gift of creating a pattern for us ~ *ME* a learner.
