Simply Print. At 3:21, there are only 4 blade bolts (not 5) - unless you got the other one in your pocket!
I've been printing on these for 50 years, and this is the first time I ever heard it called a Heidelberg Helicopter. I think it's far more common to be called the Heidelberg Windmill, although I know one guy who has called it the Heidelberg Death Machine. This was after I told him to keep his hands out of it, and explained how much force could be applied to the platen.

My wife has a Sunray 433P that she uses for book binding. She recently changed the blade with reference to your video, thanks. Her problem is that she can’t reset the “warning knife change” alarm. Could you please recommend a course of action or any one who might know or be of assistance? Thanks

High opacity yellow to hide stock..... will still be a dirty match but can get closer to a delta near 1.00 to pantone live which is the 2010 pms book standards for l a b values

Very interresting video! Can you tell me how can we convert percentage of ink on the pantoner in grams for the scale? For example If i mix 210 U : the percentage of colors is 9.40 / 3.10/87.50 , should i weigh the same number in grams and thats for wich quantity 100 grams 500 grams? Your answer will be very helpfull thank you!
1 ounce = 28.35 grams. If you are making 1 pound of ink based on the above formula in your question, all you do is multiply those amounts times .01, starting with smallest percentages first. Balance will figure into the largest amount to round out to 100%.

Do we need to install the printer driver? Or as long as the ipad and the printer in the same network it is automatically can be used? Do I need to setup the port or ip address of the printer to enable the printing?
How can i get the colour chart with ounces to know exactly how much i need to mix to get the perfect colour
Ameer Henry, the Pantone book doesn’t work with grams or ounces. It works by percentages. So if it says 22% yellow, you weigh 22 ounces.
@@SimplyPrintNoosaville , Mr. Bred, I'm from Indonesia.. The Number 22% , meaning that the Yellow Composition is 22% of the total Ink. Where did you get that Number ? Is it from the PMS ?
Can you use these inks to screen print
Screen inks (sublimation) are vastly different from offset printing *lithography). There is no comparison of the two.

how do I lower the blade half way
Natalie Moawad, you can lower the blade half way by taking one hand off the button and turning the power off. The clamp will also come down behind it for safety reasons.
I cut all the fingers off my left hand. Now what?

We have the jogger block, but no need for it for small jibs like this.
No back trimming?
All sides were trimmed.
the minimum cut from the back is around 3cm, so if your sheet has a trim wider than that, you can cut that off from back otherwise you have to turn the block like he does in the video.
You should never handle the blade with your fingers even when putting into the carrier

how do i lower the blade
Gene Brooks with most guillotines you have two buttons that you must push at the same time. For safety reasons you can't lower the blade without the clamp coming down too.

Great info Brett! I like the reference to 'cooking' to put all of this within context. No guess work for mixing with the pantone books, but experience also counts (and you have heaps!).
