Playing with the custom GIF setup. It does pause a couple of GIF frames when loading next GIF, which I edited out. Still trying to see if there is a solution for that.

Just an update: In my case I found a solution where Rockstar could not even find the issue. It seems that I was on a shared IP from my ISP (Carrier-Grade NAT, Google it) A non shared IP solved most of the issues I had with RDRO. So it would seem Red Dead servers cant handle people from the same IP being on their game somehow. I haven't really had any issues with other games, ever. Try checking with your service provider if you are on Carrier-Grade NAT and see if it can be changed, at least. If anybody still plays the game, that is.

I mostly get this error when I’m about to join a server; soo yeah, I pretty much can’t play red dead online for most of the time.

I relate, I was about to earn a very high pay on a bounty and the stupid disconnection appeared.
Frank Castle I was in the middle of a bounty hunter mission, I hogtied the bounty, then this piece of crap of game kicks me out.
No matter what you play on, you can't fucking escape the disconnections
