I'm a bit curious about how this works under the hood. I would imagine some algorithm involving Gabor wavelets should do a really good job, but I'm likely being very naive as something with very little practical signal processing/data science experience. Hell, unless you're inputing some crazy ass Van Halen solo or something, I would imagine that a mundane STFT algorithm would do the job since you don't need THAT large of time resolution with most music!? Anyway as a guitar and extreme metal fan, I look forward to giving this a try! :)

I would love to try out Klangio's capability to generate midi from audio. Unfortunately, I only get the sheet music. I'm not going to subscribe before I have heard at least a minute of the generated midi file. For a decent service I would be willing to pay.

I can't thank you enough for this. I've been waiting since 2005 for this technology to exist! There is a film score suite for piano solo (the piano suite from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) that I've been in love with since the movie came out when I was 10 - almost 20yr ago. I have the skills to play the piano suite, but never had the skills to transcribe more than bits of it myself, and I never had enough of my piano teachers' time to have them fully write it out either. I even reached out to the film composer with a heartfelt love letter to his composition, and asked for sheet music, and got no response. I just discovered Piano2Notes through this video and did the free demo on that piece to *amazing* results. I'll only need to tidy up a couple of overly-complex rhythms in the transcription, even those are few and far between, and it sounds note-perfect. Instantly sold on this software! After 20yr of playing, and 15yr of me teaching, you have finally blessed me with the ability to learn my most obscure dream piece.

Does It Work On Android?

I create music and lyrics in my head with no help from an instrument, which means, I have no idea the notes to the lyrics I have created. If I record my song as an MP3, will your software tell me what key it is in and determine the sheet music?

Question: Can I put in lyrics? I write a lot of music using AI. Can I move AI files to this product and have it create the transcription? Some of the songs are Ballads and are as long as six minutes. Having said that, is there a process that identifies the words and puts them where they belong and creates repeats so that the lyrics can go to the repeats and save paper in notation? Regarding moving an AI file to be recorded, would I have to first create a RUclips video to accomplish this instead? Can you merge your program with an AI Song Generator so that your product is offered as part of the subscription and with a click of a button the score can be printed right from the AI song generator? Thanks.

This only works if you have raw piano. If you have piano and vocals or drum, it screws it all up. They have a full orchestra transcription tool coming so we'll see how that it.
