That's right I should have shown the bleeding of the hose but I missed it because I was trying to get the unit ready for filming. The connectors on my unit are not quick connect. But I bought this many years ago and they may have since started making them with quick connect. I've seen several versions of this unit so a better one may exist now. The only quick connect part on mine is the tips, but I still have to smack them into place due to the dryness of the connections. Thanks for watching.

Your limited space situation is very common in North America, Europe and Australia. Some people use a second bedroom or just find space as you have on your balcony. As to your question, I just checked on the Worx Pegasus and it does not lock in the vertical position, when the one side is set down. Reason would be because you need to be able to easily lift up to get it back to horizontal position. It only locks in the table position (horizontal). Now you could use quick clamps to keep it in place, I did try that. That takes up valuable work space but for something that doesn't take up all the room it works great. You could also use straps to lock it into place with the adjacent legs. Hope that helps and keep working on your projects no matter where you can get some space.

I think the one my Dad had was from the hardware store he bought it at, Hechingers. I don't remember seeing it among his tools when I selected what to bring back. I bet he still has it. He kept his small toolbox and tools with him when he moved to the new place so I won't get those until he passes or no longer has any use for them. And those tools that belonged to my grandmother, were bought and used by my grandfather. I've just not considered it that way since he's been gone since the mid-1980s and my grandmother lived until 97 in 2013. Her father lived to 101. My Dad could live a while as well as he had no siblings, with the longevity gene. Thanks for watching.

If something got wet you should let it dry completely before attempting to use again. There is a reset button on the cord section. If it still doesn't work I don't have any other answers. I've had trouble getting it to work when I didn't have sufficient amperage like when using in a garden with outdoor outlets. Could be that.

According to the manual the only way to activate the soap dispenser is by having the black soap tip on the wand. It will not activate with the other tips. Hope that helps.

I've never seen anything like that on these types of drills. I also have a catalog for Goodell-Pratt Company tools and don't see any on their drills as well. You pretty much knew to keep your hands out of the gears, I guess. I notice you have a channel, is it possible for you to post a video with the one you're making once completed? I'd like to see what you made for your drill.

I'm not sure the wall could be used since the base is tapered down so that you wouldn't be able to rest the edge of the bench top against the wall except at either end. Doing it from the end would allow stability for planing but may prove limiting for other tasks. Definitely weights could be used. I'm in a different shop now so the logistics are slightly different. @@RichoWoodworking I am not saying to permanently fix the bench to a wall. The wall would be one of several approaches that would be dictated by the work being done. One example is having a small shelf on a wall so that long boards can sit on both the bench and fence. There are many types of jigs that can be used as well. These are old carpentry techniques used over centuries and were most useful at construction sites. The used everything from trees to rocks and would also use posts spiked into the earth. The only limit is our imaginations.

@@RichoWoodworking If you own the property it would not be difficult to put a small shelf on a wall that allows you to put a plank that you are working on. The shelf can be as simple as a board screwed to a wall. I will give example that I use on a small work bench. It is a simple spacer that allows me to take my beach a sit it right up against a wall and normality I cannot plane a board that is resting against the wall so the wooden spacer creates space between the wall and plank that stops me from smashing by plane of the wall. So that means I can easily plane a full length plank/board on a light weight bench.

I've not experienced this problem before but my guess is that the remote is not accepting the new battery, thus the red light. The red light is an error code rather than a charging indication. I would suggest removing the battery and reinserting it or trying another battery, making sure it is in correctly. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks for sharing this information. I'll need to go back and rewatch to see what mystery items 1 and 6 are. I've copied your comment to my notes on the items in the chest. Every little bit of information helps. I haven't used the tap and die items as much as I thought but I have been using the files, wrenches and drill items a lot on my projects. And especially the measuring equipment. I'm getting into metal work now that I have my Dad's Sears Vise and a separate table to work on with easy access to my vises and the Gagnon chest. I still have the chest and use the tools inside for my projects. I'm always happy to hear from a tool and die person as you would know MUCH MORE than me. I've parted with some of the old files that were no longer working, giving them to a friend of mine for blacksmithing. I've also added some of the tools from my Dad and other relatives which would naturally fit with this collection.

There is a lower shelf and you can try adding weights to help stabilize it. Or use chocks on the floor under/by the feet to help hold it.

Repurposing the saw sounds like a good idea. Though I probably won't alter the teeth I will probably end up using the saw that came with it for other woodworking uses as well as I probably won't be using the miter box that often for my woodworking. Thanks for watching.

@@RichoWoodworking I bet it will work great for you. On mine, the original teeth had been stamped out, but never sharpened. You might try giving the saw a sharpen, even with the original tooth pattern. It would be a great saw to learn on, even if you've never done it before. It would work 10x better, even with just a mediocre sharpening job😁. I think those saws were made with decent spring steel, though. Mine holds a good edge on the teeth. I'm sure you could accomplish that on this table. Tying the slab down, possibly through the dog holes would secure it while you cut, knowing you'll be cutting the ties as you go. Thanks for watching.

Probably if I worked with brass more often I would consider getting something else to make it easier. I've held off buying a Dremmel for use in the home shop. I had one in my conservation lab that had all the bells and whistles but it was paid for by my work budget. I also had a wheel grinder which makes what I did in the video much easier. Thanks for watching. I hope to finish the project in April or May. There is a lot more to it than just the sphere part.

It probably depends on the clamp. Some are too wide to even fit through the hole. Due to the waffle surface beneath you would need a piece of wood to help hold the clamp in place. It isn't solid underneath.

The table saw was definitely something my Dad didn't have. I had to look that one up. Sears was definitely the place to buy tools for many years in our town because the big box hardware stores didn't exist there yet, nor did the Internet. Some tools were also found at Monkey Wards. You did well to build a sturdy wooden bench. Since I'm in a more permanent shop now I may consider building a larger wooden bench to replace my current woodworking bench which I made in 2016.

This workbench isn't really meant for joinery work, however I use a bench hook for wood projects. You could also use two large F clamps to hold a long board from the sides of the bench. The edges underneath are thin so there would have to be some experimentation. I can do a little video on this if it helps. Thanks for watching.
