I'm not much for editing it's just start stop.. it has solid lifters now but the lifters don't even look the same.. the front exhaust looks different.. then the others and so I picked up a conversion type kit from Wheels through Time.. they sell their extra stuff I guess.. I don't know if it's a real conversion it just happens to be lifter blocks and tapets .. I haven't had a shovelhead since the early eighties so this is a good refresher thank you....

It's really hard to answer wiring questions without seeing what's going on, but the only thing I can see going on here would be clipping the light to the wrong side of the coil. One side gets 12 volts all the time, the other side gets 12 volts when it fires. The side with a constant 12v has a wire coming from the ignition switch (key)

I don't care, I'm subscribed and watching them all from now on. I've been watching shovelhead videos from here in the shit uk where the only good thing is my old shovel. Keep shit funny coz that's where it's at... Great work in its original form.. nearly choked and spat my tea all over my screen because of you.

@@DrVlok im glad you enjoyed it! Videos are sparse at the moment. I have a lot of parts out getting work done, heads ported and polished, Triple trees getting shaves, and so on. I will get back to weekly posts once I start getting parts back.

You measured the length of the adjustment bolt. it won't change even if you adjust it, but the adjustment bolt can be a different size on the other side, and you'll never get the same size. 26:04

On a stock bike, your right, i would measure axle center to a point on the swing arm (some bikes have marks on them already). The bolts with the TC bros hard tail are the same length.

No problem! I'll apologize in advance that these videos are long and mostly unedited. Skip through, find what you need. This was at the start of my video editing journey. Ask any questions.
