Who’s to say she wasn’t in Hawkins when all that was going on? She is from the town after all. We know she isn’t infected with it now, that got cleared up when she twisted her 6 different ways by Vecna. And we know she was hinting at harder drugs, that could be read on her face.

Dude that’s sad… we don’t live too far away from Uvalde (about an hour) and it shook our area pretty good knowing it happened and seeing it all on the news. That was the best option we wanted to go with cause we always loved going in blind with certain projects. Dude as the young kids would say he gives us the ick lol 😂 Eddie & Argyle are such a vibe! The pure definition of chill & saying f*ck the system. RIP to Chrissy.. she didn’t deserve her death and sadly got the Evil Dead death. We can’t wait to see how the season progresses forward! @@SmittyBirdie That’s great!! Another little Easter egg I forgot to mention: Will’s poster for his historical hero was about Alan Turing. He’s a British mathematician who’s considered one of the fathers of modern computing. Unfortunately, his career ended in 1952 after the British government arrested him for being gay, which was illegal at the time. He took the punishment of chemical castration, to avoid prison. He died two years later from cyanide poisoning (still unknown if it was accidental). Really sad, but I thought that was a cool detail the Duffers threw in for Will, given what he’s going through.

@ oh we know all about Alan Turing, we geeked out when we saw it. His story of him told in The Imitation Game is top notch. One of our favorite historical based films. It was sad what happened to him & for so many years his efforts in WWII were just dismissed.

It was very intense! One of the most well done & complete horror films we have seen. Really kept us engaged the whole time with how it slowly elevated itself higher & higher as the story played out.

Oh wow… that must be why Nicholas looked all depressed in that bar towards the end of his time being alive. Damn so those rumors about Sacha Baron Cohen being cast as him are most likely fake? That’s good to know, that they can get back to full strength. Wanda must have know the limit then to stop from siphoning Agatha’s life force & just take her powers.

@@SmittyBirdie it might be true about SBC but a lot of the lore will be different. It will be much simpler. See how they removed him from the Billy and Tommy back story. Also they treated Nicholas Scratch differently as well. They didn’t like his comic back story. I think Mephisto will make an appearance but whatever they use him for will be simplified and cut back. Schaeffer specifically said she didn’t get him and she didn’t like him as a character so she decided just to name drop once to make Marvel fans happy.

@ I respect it, she created a great series and made the altered back stories very good with how they were written while also giving the fans a little bit of candy with the Mephisto name drop. With comics to movies it definitely would not be all copy and paste. There will always be changes to the writing. Just as long as it’s good writing and has cohesion, we are happy.

Where did you get that Jac Schaeffer said anything about Mephisto in the MCU? All I heard from her is that she personally had no interest in the character. She has no say in what goes on in the larger MCU - only in her projects. And she's very aware of that, to the point that she doesn't want to make statements of fact about stuff that didn't actually go in the show. She _might_ talk about something they considered, but knows that any future writer/show runner can decide that something else is the way it is. So she makes a point of not saying things like that.

Oh yes! I love the story of the headless horseman & the legend of sleepy hollow was one of the very first books I read as a kid. To see this movie & the book come to life was so much fun!

The most interesting part to us about their potential reunion is the fact that Billy doesn’t seem to have the slightest bit of caring toward her.

@@SmittyBirdie he had no actual memories of her until what shook loose while incarnating Tommy. Three years of a loving mom vs hazy sentences and everyone telling him how badly she screwed up Westview... but he's a good kid so he'll try to give her a chance (I mean, if AGATHA gets chances...)

I believe it! We have yet to get into the other Godzilla films outside of Shin Godzilla, Godzilla 2000 with Broderick & the American monsterverse ones except the latest one and I feel once we are done with them all we will agree wholeheartedly

It was very real to Billy to chase what he wanted. Our biggest thing is we just want him developed properly and not rushed like previous characters in MCU projects

@SmittyBirdie I only caught it because I'm legally blind without corrective lenses. That scene always makes my heart break because she genuinely wanted the Sniffler to take her, and didn't understand why he wanted Derry.

Such a well written story, one of the best written horror movies we have ever seen. You first saw this when you were 12?? Dude that is a legendary move right there, you were tough for that one. 💪💪
