Nice video bro 🔥
Thumbs down for the clickbait title.
nice work! but actually it's called aluminium not aluminum xd <3
You're right!😂i miss when writing!
Overall, it looks much, much better. I wish you treated the worm wood damage, patched some holes and sanded the inside of the drawers.
Disappointingly shoddy outcome. Seems only half repaired, poorly stained.
Some things are just meant to have a coat of paint.
Excelente ❤
Sloppy stain job.
Woow Very good! Is a Beautiful Job 👏👏
Thank you! 😊
Could have stripped it in a third of the time with stripper!!
Le as quitado uno añitos de encima a guedado jenial ❤❤❤
単に洗っただけ
Repair is too rustic for my taste... Prefer actually repairing, restoring the boards for a tight fit, then natural stains
Lots of critics on your board! All I ask is that you test for lead paint and wear proper breathing gear. Your lungs will thank you. Thank you for saving this lovely old piece! It has great character. I’m not quite that old but I do have character lol. I subscribed. ❤ I really enjoyed the music. Brings back great memories!
Quizas esto sea mas entretenido que esos "profesionales 'aficionados" que cuentan con infinidad de herramientas y. PATROCINADORES ,preferentemente ingles
There are some pretty mean comments on here. Please don’t get disheartened by them, just morons who can’t say a kind word. It’s a great old piece and was sympathetically restored. I hope you treated those awful wood worms to a respective bath!! One tip for you. Keep the head of the hammer (flat part that strikes nail ) clean and shiny. Use a bit of end of life sandpaper for this. You are ten times more less likely to miss a clean strike on a nail. Plus, as you used a decent headed pin put of piece of cloth or if you have it or a piece of real leather ( from an old shoe ) over the head and then strike it. No nasty scratches or dings to be seen. If your a beginner then things can only get better. I hope I’m not incorrect in that point. Good luck and invest in some good tools if you can.
@@stephaniebotfield7188 Thank you man on support and on good tips!
Nice restoration!!🤩
Bel lavoro di restauro 👍

Marsvilloso trabajo,gracias por compartir.Saludos desde Cantabria(España)

Точно реставрация?
My grandfather had one of these and some drills that you grasped in the middle and turned. I used to play with them, forever drilling holed in old boards and putting old screws into them (usually the same 12 screws), and kept myself entertained for hours. Thanks for bringing back the memory! I would not be able to take any of them apart and put them back together, but you did an admirable job. 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The piece appears farm made or made by a local maker rather than a manufacuring company. It's a nice old piece. A few suggestions for you to consider as you continue to next projects. When using sawdust in glue for a filler, use finer dust for easier sanding and blending in. An old tea strainer is great for sifting the sawdust. Because pine can look a bit splotchy when adding a stain or colored finish, you can try putting on a coat of wax-free shellac before adding any color... it will help to even out the grain. For older pieces where you opt to leave in the history, wax as a final finish often helps to blend the imperfections & soften the dings & scrapes... gives it a more cohesive look. Final note, I've recently learned the term for leaving a bit of history (dings, etc.) in your restoration...sympathetic restoration. Some folks may not appreciate the look, but it is your choice.
NO LEAD TEST?
@@anmaz02 Not sure how lead paint has an impact splotchy staining in certain woods? Lead paint seems to be a different issue.
Как была рухлядь,так и осталось.😢
...очень много работы было сделано но..к совершенству ... реставрации как таковой нет жаль конечного результата нет.... терпения вам для других работ.
I guess this is 'better' but the finished product is unfortunate. I've watched so many expert qualified restorers on RUclips sites, that I know a master-craftsman when I see his/her work. Perhaps this is early in the start of your craftsman's journey and if so, continue! I wish you well.
That was a true labor of love! Nicely done!
I bet you wish you had a dollar for every staple you removed 😊
Так собі
Thank you for restoring this piece to its original state. Not everyting has to look sparkling new at the end and the time you put into it was well worth it. You returned it to what it is meant to be.
True enough, but he could at least have cleaned up the glue excess before staining it.
Good for you. It was a very time consuming process. You stayed with it! Much improved! !
Yes! Thank you!
I appreciate that you don’t use a chemical stripper, but so much work!! Just when I thought there could be no more paint, another piece would appear. 😂 All of those staples!!! I call this the Frankenstein cabinet. I’m sure I would have never taken on such a monumental task. I like the two-toned look and appreciate that you created a piece of furniture from what almost everyone would have considered trash. Thank you for the video. ❤
Thank you!❤️
I do wish you’d cleaned and sanded the insides of all the drawers & cupboards. Painting over dirt on the insides of the drawers is not good 😢
I didn't think he was going to clean or do anything to the inside of the drawers or cabinet.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Solution to all life problem a staple
If the staples don't work, use duct tape.
Paint remover shud be used , it's easy to get rid of the paint
Some old paint types do not come off well with stripper. Shiny very old enamel paint is one.
Someone gof a bit happy with the stapples. 😂ive never seen furniture held together with a million staples before. That is the craziest thing ive ever seen.
I've restored several pieces my mother took the stapler to.....definitely not the best idea.
New sub here, I'm interested to watch your journey 👍
Why not use a paint stripper? All that sanding is crazy.
That was my first thought. Use a stripper first. But then the million staples holding every part of this cupboard together quickly distracted me. Lmao😂
yeah, thats what i was going to say,,, lol
Beautiful your job. Congratulation.
I redo furniture , I'm allergic to a lot of products , but I love to had sand or use a scraper .sometimes it's not about the furniture it's the peace we find doing it . I don't sell pieces ,I do for friends and their old pieces
Sorry to say because you put so much work into it, but turned out terrible.
Thank you for that!
Looka good, but the insect holes should have been filled.
Leaving a bit of history is not a bad thing.
Fake ~ fraudulent 😡
Shouldn’t have glued the door panels, they should float so they can expand with the humidity in the air
🙋♀️👍
no....
Insomma , che dire? Lavoro approssimativo
stick on paint. why not fill the stapler holes? But it looks after much better
A fraudster and didn’t care 😠
Best music ever
