I love this song so much! It has become one of my favorites!
It's amazing to see such a difficult song played this well with such a small ensemble! I remember playing a specially arranged version of this piece in 8th grade as a bassoonist and wanting to rip out my hair sometimes. The entire band had a very difficult time with the song and to imagine you guys could play it with nearly no mistakes under these conditions is astounding! Wonderful work and beautifully played!
Thank you so much for those kind words! We have very talented students here at UO and are very proud of the hard work they have been putting in despite the challenges COVID-19 has presented them.
@@uo_bands here at my high school, quarantine has all but destroyed the band and the director is doing everything he can to make it an enjoyable class (even if it is a largely optional 0 period class), but regardless I'm still extremely impressed with the people in the video. Let them know for me!
