マッドエイカーズのアルバムでジムルーニーと2人でやってるのを聞いて、わー美しい曲やなーと 思い必死こいてコピーしました。 城田氏はスクラッグスマニア、エディアドコックマニア、そしてビルキースマニアでもありますので なんなくコピー出来たかもしれませんが、無能な私は非常に指使いに苦労した覚えがあります。 結局、後発のビルキース師匠のタブとはだいぶ違ってましたが４０年ほど前の楽しい思い出です。

An incredible performance, and you the viewer are the only one else in the room! Every note is crafted and delivered to seamlessly merge with rest of the piece, making the tunes akin to living things. One of the best trad videos I've ever experienced. Watch it again and again.

Scottish fiddler here - great to see our music travelling so far, and being played so well! Probably 17th C, collected by James Oswald in 1740. Later collections call it by the more boring title Miss Fawe's Minuet...

The GOAT of concertina

Just lovely! This is only the second cover of this tune that I’ve heard, and quite different from the first, but moving in its own way. I have to admit I was unfamiliar with the guitarist, but now want to hear more! Haunting tune, heartfelt rendition, and love the tone of that guitar!

Tell me is this music Japanese or is it Celtic and you both play so beautifully. My uncle played the mandolin and I am sure would have loved this had he been living to see it. I used to play Diatonic and piano accordion while the gang joined in. Thanks for the memories.
