I am Casey's dad. Casey is my son, and we were very close. As a bass player , 6 string guitarist, drummer & keyboard musician myself, I introduced him to music when he was a baby by playing Jazz & classical music in his room. I'm making rounds while on my Casey Benjamin Marathon. The man was/is magical and his ensemble is on another vibe. I've had the pleasure to see Randy Runyon a few times performing with Bilal. Why is it that this outstanding jazz singer does not have better representation? She should be in larger concerts, singing on Broadway, film and on radio. She needs a viable blessed contract being paid handsomely for her gift. GET THIS YOUNG LADY A GRAND CONTRACT AND GET HER OUT THERE AS MANY ARE. MISSING A DIAMOND, A STAR. AMEN & HALLELUJAH.

I listened for nearly an hour and never before have a listen to band play and say absolutely NOTHING. The solos are average at best and nothing I have heard high school kids do just as well. It’s musically dull and bereft of anything exciting like what big bands are supposed to be.
