There's always reserved funds from the sale and the fees for small maintenance issues, however, if something massive happens in the apartment, it'll be taken from the rental income with clear transparency to all investors in the property. I myself have invested in around 30 different properties over the last two years on Stake and have never encountered this problem for reference. As per Stake, at no point of time will they be taking extra funds from investors for this type of issue. 2. There is a 2.5% exit fee - that's 2.5% of the sale value. My personal strategy is long term until the properties are sold off, as that is where the real value lies on the appreciation. I use a really strong company, the company is made up of a team of professionals that specialise in different areas of the business from product selection to shipping to marketing and so much more. They offer a full package which makes the business incredibly passive. They charge based on the workload in terms of how many listings and how much work it will be for the team. So, they quote their customers based on the operation size they have to run for you but they are by far the most cost effective in the market.
