Is Knossos only for FS2? I'm trying to play from the very beginning, with Descent Freespace: The Great War, but it seems I can only run FS2 through Knossos. Can someone point me in the right direction?
omg brings back a great fukin time in my life... the old version where you could bug slide.. and the Mod "the one" or something where 1 guy becomes like Neo and you get improved stats, who ever kills Neo becomes Neo, so you got like 1 Vs many and kung fun only. Actually all endings goes into same scene. Only difference is which and how many of your companions help you in fight Transcendent One or how you persuade Transcendent One to give up peacefully.
I like how the 2nd one lets you see the protaganist of the main game from an outside perspective, like in half life opposing force expansion you see freeman jumping into the portal to xen.
Since I'm trying to stay on the good side as much as possible, I have decided to continue my playthrough without killing Mantuok. Therefore, I will load another save next episode without his book, as I have learned that interacting with it increases evil alignment. The lost progress is negligible.
fov a bit too high, i preffer to play with per game defult fov, i feel like higher fov just make things seem too far, and if you also use the defult weapon position wich is lower on all games excep CE, your point of view is a bit higher wich helps.

In Knossos, you're looking for something called FreeSpace Port, which is FS1 remade in the FreeSpace Open engine

Personally, it feels like things are too close to my face for my liking, so I always play on higher FOV when possible.
