New to you're channel. I have been crocheting for almost 40 years if you are looking for good hooks to use i would say clover hooks are the best hooks you can use they are very smooth and glide threw yarn, So glad you are getting into crochething

Use the Bernat baby yarn and regular yarn! I love those when I make my plushie they come out so much bigger and I also always use a 9 mm. Big Twist is also a huge hit for me. I love your work (:

I salute you for successfully connecting the cow. When I did my first cow pattern I’m pretty sure I messed up so hard but I also started out with dollar tree yarn and it was just… dollar tree yarn is awesome for like bees, and whatever else but patterns like the cow… no no. I had holes in it the cow and whatnot. My niece loved it and named it Goo moo 🤣 You should make your own craft shopping totes. I live in PA and have to cross to Ny to go to Joanns to get craft stuff and NY did me dirty by not giving out plastic bags so I’ve made myself a lot of tote bags for craft shopping cuz I got fed up with goin* to the store with no bags coming out 🤣 I’ve also bought a few bags with no choice in the matter lol You should make yourself an Amigurumi stick, they help keep the head straight. They are just knitting needles and silicone beads. Soooooo easy. I made a few - do I use them? 🤭 No but in should.

There are amigurumi sticks to use to hold your parts in place when sewing them together but I am a knitter so I just use some small size knitting needles and they work great. I hated sewing heads to bodies

You did a really good job with your crochet. Hobbii yarn is only available online from their website. Good luck finding brown yarn in stores. I love Big Twist posh. Big Twist plush is good as well. Keep up the great work. I teach knitting and crochet as my 2nd job (I am a history teacher) I am happy to help if you have any questions If you are going to keep crocheting amigurumi I recommend a safety tool to help put them on.

Don't stress on the head! Try taking a piece of the yarn and add a couple of sewing stitches onto the right side of his head to straighten it out.

I like reeses pieces the most! Then regular cups!❤

Some times the person who wrote the pattern will have links to ask for help or a tutorial on a specific stitch or part. Very adorable.

Acrylic is easier to work with. Sewing heads on pieces like that is hard. I usually find the front of the body and count the number of stitches needed to get the centre of the head and body lined up.

You did so great on the gingerbread cow! :) Sewing with chenille yarn is tough, and I think it looks fantastic. I like to use knitting needles to hold the head in place when I sew. Maybe that would help!

If you want to make chai things at home they have chai liquid concentrate in the tea/coffee section usually. I do like the Tazo brand :)

Such a great job on the crochet plushies! I'm trying to learn how to make granny squares, but I am definitely NOT successful!! I know I'm an oddball, but I thrive during the late fall and winter. I just love that it's darker earlier. For me, it's like God is giving us permission to hunker down and cozy up at home. I don't feel the constant need to run around like I do during the spring and summer. It's my season of rest...although I'm busier doing my cozy hobbies like cross stitch, knitting, and of course paper crafting!!! :-)
