@@julesvis She also seen me start a clip, get my old boot trapped in the rock, slip, fall over and drop my camera! I was really lucky not to get injured! She asked if I was ok and I started a new clip. I really do need a new pair of boots!

I know and I don't need to dry any clothes boots, etc, & Tommy's nice and dry also.

Sometimes I forget how bad the weather was like in the past but I look at clips from the previous years & see how bad it also was at times, but this one seems to have only a few nice days and then back to this rain & cloud! My clothes, boots & Tommy are drying out again!

It definitely wasn't Tommy at Silloth but he does like a splash in the sea although I've never been to the sea with him myself!

We got drenched before we got onto the ridge & drenched afterwards. Although it was windy at least it was not heavy rain on the ridge.

Wanted to get back. Thought it might have been warmer but it was nice & cool!

It was hotter than the last few days but still not too bad as there was a slight, cool breeze.

Just got back, the evenings are nice & cool at the moment.

We went up twice that Christmas Day in 2010.

Tommy's drying off from it & my clothes are also. No surprise that there wasn't many up there this evening!

One of the rare dry occasions!

Thank You very much. Tommy & the other Collies are my heroes! I thought for some time that we might be lucky today & escape the rain but as we approached the ridge we knew what was coming our way!

It was very nice meeting the two of you earlier. I've just given Tommy a pat from you! He's very wet as are my clothes & boots.

Lol you're both real heroes ! It made my day to spot you ! We got the photos printed they're really good !

Be careful if the rock is damp because at the bad step it's smooth & when it's wet it's very slippy. It's best to get onto the ridge straight away to find out if the rock is damp. In Autumn it can be damp a lot.
