[LONG READ] My oh my score attacking P-06 is so much fun!
So, I'm on this server, and there's this really cool dude who's also a dedicated P-06 score attacker, and he's nabbing these 200k points at the beginning of Shadow's Flame Core, which is blowing my mind. I have no clue how he does it. It doesn't seem possible, but it apparently is, so I message him asking how he does it.
Before he can respond to me, I start messing around in the game until I finally figure it out. Funnily enough, despite the hundreds and hundreds of attempts it took for me to do my original dedicated Shadow Flame Core video, it only took me about 10 tries to get this down with mostly no issues, including using the t...

This is one of my favourite stages. The atmosphere, the music, the COMBOS!! Silver the Hedgehog is some of the most fun I've ever had in this game! Making dedicated score attack videos however isn't so fun. After 2 years of practicing (yes it really did take that long) I finally did a suitable, yet imperfect run of this frankly nearly perfect level. Step aside Shadow Generations! PEAK Shadow gameplay still belongs to this here fangame! This boss is notorious for not only its difficulty, but it's use as a sudden difficulty spike in the game, but to me, once you get the right pattern down, I personally find it to be one of the most fun Sonic bosses out there.

This is an honorary tribute to Knuckles' useless combo in Sonic's Aquatic Base. (in Sonic the Hedgehog P-06 Silver Patch 1.4) In summary, it's better to completely skip Knuckle's combat section in this level and just glide straight to the laser switch as it allows more enemies for Sonic to take out and combo with later. You get a much better combo this way. However, Knuckles is still really fun...

I was just spamming ring bombs for the s rank. Every time I tried to use his tail spin i lost all my rings
@@elthestampede4910 tails' tail swipe lasts infinitely, just hold it down and you can absolutely shred higher health enemies

@cyrussouth probably another Silver stage first, then another Shadow stage. Silver's Crisis City I've been practicing. For Shadow, I'm thinking of tackling either Crisis City, White Acropolis, or Aquatic Base in spite of the fact many people have already made dedicated score attack videos for that stage

@@sambridgers9543 ahhhh, White Acropolis. My beloved. I love every version of it, and I've mastered the first part of each stage. 😌 My only gripe with it, and why I haven't come out with a video for it yet, is because both Tails and Rouge's sections are tricky to do, and I HATE the openness of the last area. (To say nothing about Silver's version with his slightly different gameplay) Makes routing for the best combos time consuming and tricky in comparison to the more linear stages. It's not in the cards for right now, but if I feel like it and have the time, I might consider it in the future

Okay, my jaw dropped when you did that incredible 4900 score combo at 0:26 - 1:20 _Excellent_ run, dude! And yeah, P-06 really is peak Shadow gameplay. Bias aside, I can't of anything this layered and technical in Shadow Generations (besides using the chaos spear to maintain momentum, which feels like a happy accident, and isn't much on it's own imo). Edit: Woah, you even did an awesome combo with Rouge! I think that's the first time I've seen some high level gameplay from her that didn't involve breezing past her sections. This video is such a treat :D
