2005 Scion Xa His name is Yoda. He's got 200k miles, runs like a top, has zero oil leaks and a decently tight suspension. Lots of miles left. Should be a good cheap ride.

New video tripod/phone camera mount/ring light!
So tell us more about the material. Where did you get it? What’s it called? Is it acrylic with multiple layers?
It's called "scratch acrylic and it comes in various color combinations. The laser ablates the top layer revealing the undercolor. They also have a fake leather-like material that works the same. It's sold by GreatCarve in china
Nice build, Bro. new sub here I'm doing a 70cc Mineralli in a full suspension build . just finish building the emgine need some extra power for the 146 linl chain parasitic drag. works flawless so far
Nice! I did a rack mount suspension bike and it rode and worked great! Just looked awkward with everything out back on a rack. It was super quiet and rode like a easy chair. And the rack mounted engine meant no chain tension changes despite full suspension.
@@ManiacRacing I'll be going back to my shifter on the engine side (no jackshaft) soon, 40t, 36t and 32tooth sprockets on the rear wheel. Pictures deep in the community rabbit hole. The shifting worked fine but I want to bump start too which made it very difficult but now I have the chain strung lower and it should be easier to bump start without ripping off the single roller derailer.
@@Paul_Gale I found kickstarting my jackshaft 5 spd chopper on the centerstand worked best. The pedal freewheel made bump starting a pain
Looks Cool Ray 👽👍
That's awesome brother
Lol chit boxes need love too 😂👽
I love me some Toyota 4cylinders. One of the most reliable engines made in my experience. Especially if cared for well.
Looks good to me brother i had a Kia sophie for over 300000 miles and sold it was still running great
Yeah 200k is just getting broken in for a yota
I like it brother looks awesome what carburetor are you using for your avenger
VM18 clone with a 65 main. About $45 or so. Super excellent upgrade! WAY better than sha's and such. And you can buy manifolds for them now. I made mine.
👀 Cool 👽👍 I would like a raw one with no paint 🚴💥💨💨💨
Its not paint. Its acrylic plastic made with two layers, and my CNC laser engraver removes the top layer to show the white underneath. It comes in several colors and combinations with white, black, and silver layers under the color
They also have synthetic leather like material that does the same thing
@@ManiacRacing 👽👍
Don't blame it on assemblers blame the machinists that can't follow specs! "Clearance shmeerance throw an impact on it."
I wish they came apart that fast manic i see what you were saying about the gear not wanting to come out I know oylin goes crazy with either glue or clear lock tite I purchase a few of them from Gomax for my minaralli bottoms there built good just hope you don't have to take it apart lol
Oylin engines that's how they do there's I had one do it on the sprocket side and ended up destroying the shaft they lock tite or glue
Not just Olyin. I see a lot of engines with way too much loctite here. It's a good thing they use chinese loctite or we would never get them off.
It'll come off if it liquid! 😂 Definitely buy multiple pullers!
You know heat to 400 degrees will break the loctite loose
Lol so Truth, mine only does clutches lol, next thing I buy 👽👍
Nice, time for a re build 👽👍
This is a new engine getting torn down for my usual upgrades. Balanced crank, mains, seals, circlips etc
@@ManiacRacing Yep all must upgrades , china pullers suck I need to find one from something else same size 👽👍
@@Op1zilla I have had no luck. All the chinese scooter tools are wrong size and/or thread, and even if you get a good one, it just pulls the threads out of the gear. Lol. Catch 22
@@Op1zilla Cheese hardened china steel
@@ManiacRacing yes 😂👽👍
Heat it to break the thread lock
I did. With a welder. Lol. Tired of asking so I welded the puller to the gear. And it was still a bitch kitty to break loose even after welding heat!
Bro ur sprocket needs adjustment
Nice Nice. Watch out for that pipe leak tho. I can see it smoking through.
Yeah that's the factory slip joint leaking. It only leaked a little and I didn't feel like trying to seal it better, especially since the pipe was temporary on this bike. It's really too big for a chinadoll.
@@ManiacRacing i don't think it's too big. Ive seen bigger on these motors. But it's up to you.
When video was stopped while loading. Looked like scaring where the base gasket goes
Just cosmetic. Nothing to worry about.
I don't like gurbee he was a smart ass so I Bought mine from ken Henson and Kelly they hooked me up right looks awesome brother I hope she works out for you
I like Grubee quality. His engines have always been better out of the box than any regular chinadoll.
Tweaker bike
That looks awesome on your avenger I see you got the mz65 pipe did you get the window piston I put one in mine this weekend she rips ride safe brother
It's the GoMax pipe, not the MZ which won't fit the Avenger, and internals are bone stock.
You'll get it, sounds Strong 👽👍
Hoping it's the carb and not crank seals. But if I need to split the engine to get it right, I will.
@@ManiacRacing if seals are good hanging idle is lean pilot, idk if you cleaned it or not yet but yes 👽👍
Cool beans brother they had a baffle that slid inside that pipe or attached to it anyway sounds awesome
Yeah, the end of mine looks modified, and I think they had to remove it to get the needed bend around the shock. The pipe seems to be a MR175 pipe rewelded to fit the TS. At least the MR is the closest match I have seen yet,
idk if the dual spark plug is a great idea
It's mostly bling. Doesn't do anything for power. Might make the low end a bit smoother. But it also doesn't hurt anything except finding twin plug aftermarket heads, because the stock cast heads SUCK.
Nothing wrong with saving stuff 👽👍🏻 Looks Good
Especially considering the prices on the good looking stuff. Astronomical!
Looks awesome brother cleaned up nicely
New internals? 🤔
Unsure as yet. I found a guy in the Netherlands who restores them and sells parts, and I'm in the process of emailing him to check prices for a new mechanism. Or just the corroded spring which is the only part it needs.
Cool old Bike Ray 👽👍🏻
Looking good brother yeah on my 78 Suzuki Castro 2 stroke oil mix you Bought at the Suzuki or Yamaha bike shop Honda was already switching to 4 stroke engines
😜👍 how has it held up?
Extremely well. Bike has been flawless for over a decade, with no problems aside from the occasional rim dent from flats. I'm currently running a bone stock Avenger with a VM18 and Olyin pipe&head.
Sounds great 😃👍 ride safe!
Coming from. Speed racer himself lol 😅
Great idea
Good video bro
Thanks. I see people badmouthing ragjoints a lot and just wanted to say something.
Hell yeah I never had a problem with them work fine for me
Nope 🕷️!!!!
Duh it spins easy with no gears or magneto lol
Yup. Try this with a stock kit.
Hey that an ld100? I have some questions
No, this is an Avenger 85. I do have a lot of experience running the LD100 though, so Ill answer any questions I can.
@@ManiacRacing awesome thank u. I have a phantom I'm not satisfied with t h so that actually answer alot. It's getting the ld100 head. Second ld100s what the deal with ppl needing spacers? I've built 2 that do 40+mph starting as yd100s never needed one. How do u get good seal on those mating surfaces? That was my biggest hurdle.
@@mikecyanide7492 A billet head is always a great upgrade! As far as the spacers, the early LD100's had a bad mismatch with the cylinder which left the transfer ports barely open at bottom dead center. Adding a spacer was a quick easy way to get the proper port openings and get the most from the stock ports. The newer versions of the LD100 do not need the spacer anymore, so it's not really relevant today. Apparently the factory saw the spacer posts and decided to fix the issue themselves.
@@mikecyanide7492 Same reason the early LD's has squish problems too, mismatched stroke to cylinder porting. The spacer was just a easy way to correct timing without griding the stock ports to hell and gone.
@@ManiacRacing ty so much dude. I didn't wanna be missing out on power but I was like wtf this motor does fime outa the box. Both my ld100s have the cnc head decked to .7 squish. How is that head on an avenger/phantom should I go for it?
Oil and water don't mix
Ah snap that sucks
Yeah but insides look fine, so it clearly didnt sit there all these years. I figure the guy before me probably cleaned it or something
👽👍🏻
Cool beans brother that's awesome
Yeah the water in the case had me worried. But it all looks good and works now.
En donde consiguio la cabeza del cilindro?
Cylinder head is custom billet. Not available to the public
2 base gaskets man and mines a total beast.
I'm running a new GoMax Avenger A85 now. MUCH stronger engine.
@@ManiacRacing I dig. I have many builds. My daily is an all trash parts zeda80 that screws but I don't have the scratch for high dollar stuff. So for me it's trash to treasure lol
Lame man. Mine is a total beast. Sorry man. They'll compensate you and more. Just post some bad reviews and complain. I got a full refund and kept the motor and kit.
It was just a cylinder, not a complete engine thankfully. I avoid CDH as a rule for this very reason.
Well glad that's all man. Do you have any recommendations? Who do you order from?
@@mikecyanide7492 I've had good results with GoMax. I've built dozens of LD100's. I am currently running a GoMax Avenger A85 and loving it!
Pig looking good.
Nice find I had the 1978 version 125 TS fenders were plastic and they called them enduro again nice find
Yeah this was designed for those who wanted a bit more power than the 125. Its basically the same frame with more cc's. Then it turned out to be so popular they kept building them until the 90's!
@@ManiacRacing my next step up was the Suzuki 550 L smooth running machine
@@mikemiller3303 My dad had a X6 Hustler, and a GT550 triple before he went Honda 750 four. Always loved the sound of the twins and triples

Nice bike bro
I call my bike piglet lol it's still a baby
Very nice frame. Rebuild...That second bar and the bottom eeld shows it's not a Schwinn. Interesting mystery there.
