Assessment of your risk to reward is crucial before entering into this course.. To be blunt, if you are 90% and above student, it will be preferable for you to pursue a normal graduation+masters and land a package on par with a fresher CA with half the efforts and mental enigma of your career path. I respect CA degree because it grills you to your bone and if you want to enter the industry, your starting package would be on par with an B GRADE MBA (unless you are an AIR) Other than that, in CA especially, your exposure towards public speaking and presentation is far less than that of an MBA graduate (exceptions with a few firm). Also, your exposure towards must understand that during your articleship phase, you are doing more of clerical work maximum of the times. So, I highly recommend to work under your local CA in an internship if possible and then you can assess whether you want to walk on that road.
