Repentence means changing of the mind from un belief to Belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Being Sorry for your sins doesnt save you because your relying on your own righteousness which is like filthy rags to God. The Gospel is Accept Jesus as lord and believe in his finished works Thats how you become righteous to God because then its not your own righteousness its Jesus's Righteousness through you. Gino Is Wrong because you cant sin in the spirit but you can still sin in the flesh but once you accept Jesus christ as lord and savior your sins which was made in the flesh is wiped clean past present and future. Once you have the undeniable truth it wont make you sinless in the flesh but it will make you Sin ... Less because jesus already paid the price for sins which makes that mans statement about 1st Corinthians 1-4 correct.
